Hey this is only 5 tools...
I have the handle puller. (Journeyman didn't have em)
I have a fork wrench I use for basket strainers.
I have the picks. (Journeyman didn't have em)
I have the PEX cutters too.
No one as far as I know uses tubing benders at my company. I will pick one up if I ever find a need to use one.

It’s a lost art when it comes to tubing benders, it’s easier to grab braided hose supplies and call it a day!

Some of the hand tools that Roger is displaying are tools that was used for old school plumbing. Hand tools nowadays comes in sets, adjustable, or multi bits. Adjustable wrenches, multi bit screw drivers, plier sets, snips, tubing cutter, torpedo leveler, tape measure, hex keys, a bucket and rag is all you need for service work at a basic level. It can be a very minimal setup and you don’t got to carry around 100 tools like what you see in electrical or HAVCR work. Usually how I set up my bag is the main tools I always use and I always buy a second set of those tools in case my main tools are lost, stolen, or broken.

I'm surprised we don't bend copper since they are always complaining about the cost of fittings.

Generally with lines in residential or commercial it’s all going to be hard copper, the copper he’s bending in the video is soft copper you cant bend hard copper.

not to mention how over time it can get egg shaped so service later becomes difficult. pex fitting save lots of time, a or b, removing soldering removes the chance of pinholes and yk leaks because there was some dirt in the elbow and whatnot, just more streamlined now, and pex b fittings will hold even if the fitting isnt fully in the pipe

Save yourself some money and headaches. Buy good quality picks, may have to order online but i went with the ullman pick sets they got deep lengths regular and they dont break the first use like home depot or harborfrieght picks.

I got all that stuff. But the handle puller i have retired. If I can't get the handle off.... your getting a new faucet. A handle puller is like a seat wrench. I'm not changing your seat. I have broken to many faucets over the years and customers say.... it was only dropping. Now it's fucked. It will have to be a fancy fancy faucet to make me get a handle puller. Or seat wrench

These are the not so obvious/necessary. Like a tub tool. You can make it work with 2 channel locks but the tool makes it easier and you don't have to wreck tools.
