RE4 NTSC GC Mercenaries - HUNK - Village - 207,100 [World Record]

Back in the extremely early days of my time on CZcams and of playing Resident Evil 4, the most popular Mercenaries videos were often those of the NTSC Gamecube version. This version was the first released in North America and had more aggressive enemy AI. Due to this, the strategies used would often be rather different to the PAL version I played on.
I remember watching players like Rob1219 or HonestMelon, wishing I could one day be as good as them.
Recently, I acquired the NTSC Gamecube version and started playing it. The World Record for HUNK on Village sat at 201,100 by Xcessive Evil. My first attempt at this version gave me a score of 190,000, giving me the push needed to try and beat the World Record which has been top of this leaderboard category for 15 years.
Despite quickly managing to obtain the World Record, I wanted to really set an amazing score. 207,700 is the highest HUNK score on any version, so I set my sights on that. Unfortunately, due to the differences with this version, I couldn't find a way to get that score, but I did come up with a strategy for 207,400, which I narrowly missed achieving in this run.
I always felt my RE4 Mercenaries journey started with HUNK on Village, as it was what I played the most, so that makes this record all the more special to me.
En los primeros días de mi paso por CZcams y de jugar a Resident Evil 4, los vídeos de mercenarios más populares solían ser los de la versión NTSC de Gamecube. Esta versión fue la primera lanzada en Norteamérica y tenía una IA enemiga más agresiva. Debido a esto, las estrategias utilizadas a menudo eran bastante diferentes a las de la versión PAL en la que jugué.

Recientemente adquirí la versión NTSC de Gamecube y comencé a jugarla. El récord mundial de HUNK en la aldea fue de 201.100 por Xcessive Evil. Absolutely absurdly brilliant! That quick turning is so satisfying to watch, the private barn neck breaker ballet w the sisters, the raining of grenades w your chest multipliers…. Hey just curious… but do you know what triggers the last two garradors in the castle? I always end up dropping combos to deal with them towards the ends there and I can’t figure out what causes them to come out ? Is it a time thing? Like sometimes they spawn together and other times it will be one at a time. Just wondering

There's not a specific list for the 2 minute world records, unfortunately.
