Lots of people wanted to see me play HUNK seriously. I've already uploaded 200k runs on Village with everyone but Leon, so here we are. 205k with HUNK. 207k is possible but it requires perfect chests and enough grenades, as unfortunately HUNK is dependant on grenade drops if he wants high scores.

for nine and a half minutes, nighthawk witnessed from above how intrepid hunk was in the village, plundering and killing like it was second nature.
nighthawk would then extract hunk and lived to tell the tale.

Ever since you explained that there's a cap on the number of enemies that spawn on each map, it's changed how I look at these 200k+ runs. Once you're good enough to reliably kill every single enemy before time runs out, there are really only three factors I can see that matter in your score: kill combos, chest kills (regular enemies only), and killing minibosses as part of 10+ combos.
Makes it easy to figure out the theoretical max score, which might not even be possible in practice. Also easy to point out exactly where a run falls short of that theoretical perfect score. By my count, each dropped combo is -4,630 (if the wiki is right, which I don't think it is, because your tens digit never changes...), each miniboss killed outside of a 10+ combo is -4000 at worst and -500 at best, and killing a regular enemy without a chest bonus is -700.
You dropped two combos, for -9,260. You killed 10 ganados outside of bonus time, if I counted correctly, so that's -7,000. You perfectly killed all six Bella sisters with a 10+ combo already in place, that part could not have gone any better.
But that's got to be DAMN close to the best you can possibly do. Maybe you could've avoided dropping those combos, but I'll bet you've got a reason for it, I'll bet you scored more points this way than by insisting on a straight 124 combo, I'll have to watch your Village tutorial and find out. Maybe there's some conceivable way to kill all 118 ganados during bonus time, if you somehow get enough grenades to kill everything within 90 seconds... you came amazingly close to doing just that, with 108, so who knows. Getting all 118 bonus kills and a straight combo would give you just 11 seconds between bonus timers, and making full use of those requires some setup, so something has to give, either you drop a combo or you plink off a few ganados without bonus, or you get super lucky and get to kill the Bella sisters as your bridge between bonus timers (seeing as they don't give you bonus points in chest time).
And still, some flaming idiot says "Meh I,ve[sic] seen better". XD
What could possibly make this a "meh" performance by comparison? Somebody's friend's older brother knows a cheat code that unlocks Luis, who's got the Chicago Typewriter, and can totally score 300k? /s
Need to watch your video on how scoring works. I tried to rewatch and keep track of your score/bonus as I went along, and clearly the scoring rules in the RE4 wiki are incorrect... Now I'm curious. EDIT: Ah. It's the chest bonus. Overwrites the normal combo bonus, rather than adding 700 to the base kill score. There we go.

The theoretical maximum is 210k for village. The WR with HUNK is 207700.
I need to drop the combos to setup the chests in order to get more kills. Always start a combo using a chest so you get the max bonus points each time.
So yeah, knowing how the bonus chests and combo works, you should be able to follow along with the score much easier.
The chests I would ideally want are 36, 40 and 34.
How come he shoots randomly every so often?

I think that’s what makes him badass is his lack of guns, and such killer melee attacks.

@@mikitok3377 Si quieres que todos los spawns funcionan como en este video, hay que usar la cegadora cuando lo tiro yo, y quedarse en la area cerca al fuego hasta que todas las bellas estan muertas y tienes combo de 41.
Pero hay otras estrategias si solo quieres 190k+

@@mikitok3377 El truco para las bellas es intentar tener un cofre de 35/36. Matar la bella azul (que spawnea en el granero a 25 muertes), volver y matar a su hermana verde, y despues las 2 primeras bellas. Pero hay que ser rapido porque los otros ganado pueden atacarte en grupo.
My longest combo is 114 and my high score on this one is 186,400.
I managed to kill a couple of times 116 enemies (although outside of the combo, it was like combo 110 and then 6 after that) but I literally either am short for a couple of secs or can't spawn the remaining 8 to 10 enemies.
That's it for the village with Hunk.
As for the Castle stage goes, I have this problem that the last room doesn't always spawn the two Garradors and/or doesn't start before spawning them with those five or six shield guys.
So unfortunately my best score on Castle (with Wesker this one) is only 223k and my longest combo is 186.
As for your gameplay goes, brotherman, I salute!

The issue you are having is with the spawn and understanding it. I have a spawn guide for Village and will later make ones for the other stages. There can be only 10 enemies on screen at a time, so if you try to spawn more at that time then it won't happen. Whereas other enemies only spawn after a specific kill count.
@@Sarcosuchas I watched that, a couple of times, cool and useful videos also. BUT there is always a chance that one missed something, so I'll have another look at the spawn guide maybe something comes up.

I also have 124 combo videos for Village where I kill all enemies in a single combo, which is also a good way to show the spawns.

I had the most fun on this game. I had it on gamecube and i would make it a breakneck festival. Remember it being harder tho, with alot more chainsaws and more enemies. Cool gameplay tho!

Es necesario nunca romper el combo o en 50 o 60 ya esta biien ?
Cual seria la forma mas efectiva de atraer ganado desde los puntos de spawn ya que tras hacer que los ganados entren al granero solo consigo un combo de 20 con el cofre activo y quisiera saber si esto tiene que ver con mi posicion para que salgan mas enemigos o es porque tu haces el truco de tomar el reloj y aparecen los ganados extras
Si quieres un segundo cofre más grande, es mejor romperlo a 50. Asi tendrás una posibilidad de matar 41 durante el segundo cofre.
Mato más que 30 en cada cofre porque estoy quedando en posiciones importantes relativas al spawn y las lineas de spawn, y con las granadas estoy matando grandes grupos de ganados para que otros puede aparecer más rápido. Recordad que hay un limite de 10 enemigos en la pantalla en cada momento, asi que más ganados que matas, más "espacio" hay para otros que estan pendientes de spawnear.

I have a question regarding the re4 merc mode. Why do people go for a full and long streak in the map castle, but split the combo in village?
On Village, you need to take time to gather the enemies for the bonus chests; whereas Castle has so many enemies that it's actually faster to just keep killing.

@@coder5815 No, because the combo points don't increase after the 10th kill.
I recommend watching my Scoring System Guide video where I explain how it works.
And I have a guide on how to get 60k with Leon so you can finally get the Handcannon as well.

Yeah, shooting gets them to chase you down more frequently, allowing you to manipulate their positions better. Though for VR it's not quite as necessary to the same extent as VR has an infinite spawn. I have VR gameplay on the channel too

In what sense do you mean? This is the regular game speed.
@@Sarcosuchas its hard to explain it.. ive seen some kind of video ages ago on a glitch which makes you move a little bit faster . Something to do with swapping the grenades in the inventory.. is it called the ditman glitch or something
@@mkmaudsley8381 The ditman glitch can only be done using the Striker shotgun, and it is a noticeable 20% or so increase in speed of all animations.

@@Sarcosuchas Its ok mate.. I didn’t know you need the striker.. I thought it was something you could do in mercenaries too. At the very start you did something that looked like it was the glitch with the grenades in your inventory. It thought that may have been it
@@mkmaudsley8381 You run slightly faster with a grenade equipped, and turning with a grenade is also faster as it is a shorter animation. That's the reasoning.

Bro I have a problem , my score is just 158k and I didn't kill 124 enemies , everyday I play I kill just 86 to 95 , I use 30 fps version in pc
Make sure you're crossing all the spawn lines, I run to specific places for specific reasons.
Is your PC version the Steam 30fps or is it the 2007 PC version?
@@Sarcosuchas it's not steam version , I think it's the first version it has a low graphiques , I see in your video you have chickens when u knock them u got grenads , in my version I don't have those chickens and it load just 8 enemies not 10 like you 😔😔

I plan to make videos on that version, as I do have it. But if you want to see how a pro plays on that version, look up raf95lakhw. He's the WR holder for the PS2/PC07 versions

bella sisters are piece of cake thanks to neckbreaking, it's just those fucking parasites which annoy me so much, hunk doesn't even have stun grenades/rifle/shotgun that could effectively eradicate them, they always break my combos and worse still, accidentally kill me
The more Ganados you kill during the chests with grenades the less chance you have of getting plagas.
