  • I attempt to make an 80/90 mm fan drive a gear pump as a source of cheap reliable motors , with some success .

When will you make the next update about the 3D-printed pumps?

Have you considered adding PTFE seals to your pumps?

I have but seals + friction , I find it builds alot of heat with no way to dissipate through the plastic , also adds power draw. I want this to be able to run for a few years strait 24/7 . I ended up switching to the diaphragm pump as its more efficient and seams to have way less friction. As well as being positive displacement , it has vales witch seal better than 3d printed mating parts . I also have a fan powered version of the diaphragm pump . In testing the diaphragm pump has had zero issues short of one of the diaphragms failing . It also can pump gas or liquid with no modification or damage to the parts . I have messed around with more fan powered pump ideas with little to no success .
