With a knife, you'd have to get out of the car and run to wherever the victims are, and by then they'd have time to run away or run into their house, lock the door, and call the police. There are PLENTY of ways to kill people but not any better than guns (not including like missiles and shit, I mean easily accessible items). People will still find a way to get guns if they're banned, sure, but it will be a hell of a lot harder than just walking into a store and buying every fucking firearm you want. Think Canada for example, the only way you can access a gun is with a hunting license (not including police/RCMP/etc.), you can NEVER just walk into a store and buy a damn gun. And the result?
