I had a similar case with the z690 hero motherboard. I was lucky that they told me to don't pay for the replacement, they sent me a ânew motherboardâ to RMA, and as a result I received an even more broken one. The one I received as a replacement had bent contacts of the USB headers, scratches on the PCB and heatsinks, and the funniest thing was broken pieces of PCB layers. As a result, the proceedings dragged on for about a month, each of the technical support employees said completely different things. Some employees said that they would make expedited delivery as compensation, then they told me that I needed to leave a deposit (as they usually do), then another employee said that I didnât need to do this. Afterwards, they generally canceled my RMA numbers 2-3 times, provided that I already wanted to send the motherboard for a replacement a second time. It was very lucky that I could not send it right away, otherwise I donât know how long it could have dragged on, provided that they gave me an RMA for no reason and then canceled it the next day.
