I have been using icon 909 for 1 year, I can tell you one thing it's not for everyone . Pure classical bat . Not for hard hitters or sloggers. Slightly heavier probably 20 gms than all other bats I have used . Good against pace and a bit of bouncy wicket where the ball rises . Zero to No stroke on the toe region

I’m planning to get either the icon or croma which one do u think is more suited for a player who plays slowly more test/ long formats (drives the ball doenst swing a lot)

Hi jinto love the video I brought a chroma 909 and love the grains, ping and pick up mind is 2-7.6
But I have one concern the toe is quite thin @ 23 mm
Are they all the same in toe size
And is it likely to crack at 23mm
    Thanks

      Hey mate,
Thanks for the compliment. Toe sizes in Chroma’s vary from 23-25mm. Its consistent across the bats but with Toe-Tek dont think it will break that easily. GM prepares the toe and edges really well at factory. But with that said you definitely have to be careful with the bat as well.

i too bought the same 1. The toe of my bat is definitely thin as yours and it has cracked quite a few times. Rest of the bat has tremendous stroke. Toe tek is useless in my honest opinion. Came off during the second game session itself. Had high hopes with GM bat but disappointed.
