133 kmph. But it will take serious toll on his wrists and arm to consistently bowl such speeds at short run ups. He would be slowing down once hitting international circuit, where consistency and longevity is the key and more important than raw pace alone.

That is quite the arm to bowl that sort of pace, near 80mph of a short run basically stepping run up. Any amateur player who has cranked the bowling machine up to near 80mph knows how fast that is, I'd imagine even the pros are struggling with that pace when its coming unconventionally like that.
That is the difference between top class bats and hit and giggle bats. Good bat would have lap swept him to oblivion given the field setting. If some one like AbdV was batting, expect some reverse laps and with Dilshan, a scoop over the keeper.
Finally it looks like English found a decent spinner for T20's.. Butler will definitely pick him up in the near future
McCullum-Stokes combo is only for tests. Coach and captain are different in T20s and ODIs.

I do think that creating a new format for The Hundred was unnecessary but I also think that the option to give the same bowler another 5 if they bowl well does add something to the game and that rule enabled a magical finish to this game.

@@siddepp7192, firstly, it's "balls", not "bowls". Secondly, I don't think you know what you're talking about. Just as each bowler can't bowl more than 4 overs in T20, no bowler can bowl more than 4 sets of 5 balls in The Hundred. The difference is that bowlers are allowed to bowl 2 sets of 5 in a row. If the IPL implemented a similar rule, Bumrah could indeed bowl the last 2 overs but he could still only bowl 2 others. What's wrong with that?

Enjoying his summer. Did you know that in his younger days Ian Botham used to play football for Scunthorpe when it was not cricket season. Also the Neville brothers were better at cricket than football, they reckon Phil couldve played for England he was that good. But they both chose football for the money.

When they work, they're great. The problem is that you don't have to miss by much for modern batters to hit them for boundaries.

Dan Mousley (along with other less extreme quick white ball spinners) and Benny Howell (and other slower ball “seamers”) are meeting in the middle in terms of pace and revolutions on the ball. Definitely a model worth exploring.

I pretty much exclusively follow Test Cricket in terms of taking it seriously now but I still love that little oddities in bowling are happening. It's the sort of thing we always used to talk about as a kid: "What if a spinner could bowl a medium fast ball just once in an over?". Is he actually bowling upright seam with these!?

I've always wondered why this kind of bowling isn't attempted more by spinners in this format, especially as a change up delivery to catch the batter out with a +20mph delivery from nowhere. I get it's a difficult delivery to bowl with high risk, but also high reward it seems a good one to have in your locker. Great bowling Mousley, what a spell 👏👏

That's no spin bowling. They are just seam up deliveries. 75 MPH seam up delivery is not at all a surprise. But you gotta appreciate his accuracy though!!
Off such a short run up though...... And a few of them were up to 80+ as well not just mid 70s. To bowl that pace off a spinners run up is unfathomably impressive. And just for clarity, Mousley is actually usually an offspinner
