- Unbelievable Peak Mtn Camp! If you have been on our website (www.peakmtncamps.com) at all you may have seen the bears den model and possibly have wondered what that might look like. Well because that model is so customizable it’s hard to envision, but lucky for you we have several being built right now with different layouts and lengths that would all fall under the bears den layouts. I’ll do my best to get you some walkthroughs of each of those camps but in the meantime here is a quick walkthrough of a camp that was built for a amazing couple from Texas. Filled with touches such as the mesquite wood walls and the western style cabinet hardware. This camp was made for Texas!

Curious why wall/ceiling trim is pine yet cabinetry doors are oak (unless purchased vs fabricated).
Pine is soft and allows us to follow contour of the ceiling. We do offer a couple different options for trim but it the rosewood has been by far the most popular.
Entry door hinge screws, interior side, sucked down too tight. Dimpling of metal apparent.
Kept calling it "camp". It's a trailer.
Not a big deal really but "camps" generally require ground prep and some assembly, not park it and ask "where's the marshmallows for the co-co?"
Overall GOOD craftsmanship.
Opinion comes from 22+ years refurbishing/remodeling corporate aircraft. (Tomcat Productions - Tim "The Toolman" Allen.,Oprah Winfreys F900, Hank William Jr.'s Citation, Bob Hope's Jet Star - mid/late '90's).
The design of these campers are based on the original sheep camp shape and design that sheep herders used throughout the west, some still do. Please try to gather more knowledge prior to showing your ignorance😀
