one of my teachers is the grandmother of T.J Vasher, NFL football player for the Dallas Cowboys. T.J and Nathan are from Wichita Falls, that’s so cool 😌 AND DR FREAKIN PHIL WENT TO MSU I STILL CANT GET OVER THAT.

Larry McMurtry was born and from Archer City, 25 miles south of Wichita Falls. His home stayed in Archer City by the golf course. Writers often dropped by there. Mia Hamm was only here briefly, wasn’t born or means she was from here. As others have noted, really surprised you didn’t mention Eddie the Thrill Hill. First quarter miler to go under 5 seconds along with many drag racing firsts and records. Also held many boat racing records that lasted for years. The man is a living legend, and a class act, wish our city would recognize him more.
