  • Everybody in the gypsy jazz music world knows Denis Chang. He used to be based in Montreal from where he created his famous DC Music school, inviting famous musicians from all over the world to reveal their technical secrets for a worldwide audience, accessible to everybody.
Two years ago he moved to Japan, which has a great impact on his personal life and his career. In Japan, Japanese is really the only language. So in order te be able to make a living there speaking and reading the language fluently is instrumental. And though he looks and is Asian, he is just a Canadian guy from Montreal, and Japanese is as new to him as it is to me. This hard worker and very decent person will find his way there. See Denis in Japan!

Following your dreams comes with a price tag. Inner peace over fame and fortune is probably the most costly but also the most rewarding of all. A choice we all make at some point of time. Good luck Dennis.
