    Description: Part 1 (Euler's biography): • The Life of Euler: the...
    After googling the greatest mathematicians, I noticed Euler consistently at the top. Last time we peered into his life, now we dive into some of his most revolutionary discoveries, in both math and physics.
    I'm glad our friend Decaf-Math ASMR was available when we got stuck half way through. Consider visiting her channel if you enjoy math and ASMR together. / @decafmathasmr

    I am very strange when it comes to subjects
    I am absolutely terrible at math, however I am excellent in sciences including physics and chemistry, which is ironic since those two contain math.
    It's especially algebra which I don't get.
    I know this is random but I just wanted to point that out😂😂😂

    • @nothingnewhere6551
      @nothingnewhere6551 Před 5 lety +2

      Parallelcovers9 it is ironic, and difficult to believe. If you are good at physics I expect you are tremendous at math and being humble. According to math people, physics people don’t do math stuff so well or correct all the time, but it took learning physics to learn math cold. Math test are like many problems you do the same way with 1 or 2 exceptions. Physics problems are all word problems and every one of them is an exception. You probably are pretty good.

    • @St.J973
      @St.J973 Před 5 lety

      @@nothingnewhere6551 thank you for the interesting and well informed reply. I agree with your statement, it should be easy to me since physics is a sub genre on math (including science) although I noticed a mistake in my description. I understand physics easier because it is a certain math that is in it that I get. However, as an example, algebra is something I find very hard to understand since the subject itself is quite controversial. There are many variables and terms in algebra meaning it could be any number, thus making others opinion that algebra is hard and unnecessary. although a wise person once told me that anything is useful but nothing is necessary. Basically what it comes down to it is that I get math, but not all of it. Where as the math used particularly in physics is easier for to understand. especially quantum physics.
      :)

      (Sorry)

    • @St.J973
      @St.J973 Před 5 lety

      Manuel Richard yes, it is. Physics has a lot of math. But chemistry is more of the conversion tables and stuff.

    • @nothingnewhere6551
      @nothingnewhere6551 Před 5 lety +2

      Manuel Richard Yes, Biology and Chemistry are both based on Physics which uses the language of mathematics to explain the way the world works. Incidentally, biologists and chemists use math physicists don’t, not trying to imply one is better than the other. But essentially, a quantitative result is the only way to reject hypothesis to craft scientific theory.

    Haha, middle-schoolers in Norway doesn’t learn any f(x) stuff at all. I don’t think we learn that until we take the optional calculus-like stuff at age seventeen. I had a math teacher when I was 17, who is from the US, and he told me that Norwegian children has got it real easy compared to you over in the US. And I have to agree... Who has to learn algebra before they’ve even hit puberty??? (I say lightheartedly.) Coincidentally, my near illiteracy of math combined with the biology degree I’ll be starting in another country in a couple of months is why I’m paying attention to your math instead of sleeping.
