  • SUBSCRIBE to help our unintentional ASMR collection grow bit.ly/UASMR and hit that 🔔. One of the best unintentional ASMR videos for sleep. Up there with John Butler ASMR and our most popular unintentional ASMR medical exam videos we've featured, comes the best unintentional ASMR scientist we've heard yet, Prof. Russell Stannard.
We’ve always been fascinated with science related videos as they really make great for accidental ASMR gold. What’s even more appealing is a science video voiced with a very soft spoken British accent! Luckily, we’ve come across this unintentional ASMR video as suggested by one of our followers, Lee. This relaxing explanatory video features British Professor, Russell Stannard, as he talks about the mind, space, and all things science. Full credit goes to Professor Russell Stannard and The Open University, and its online learning platform, OpenLearn.
    -- Our Edits --
In this compilation of science learning videos, we removed the music at the start of each video, as well as a few times where Professor Stannard’s voice is raised for certain words to ensure that you only hear his gentle voiced moments. We also tidied up the audio by editing out a few sections where there were some loud moments, as well as non-relaxing parts, to specifically edited to maximize the relaxing ASMR effect of this video while you sleep. Hope you like the changes! Please let us know what you did/did not like in the comments below.
    -- Original Video --
Russell Stannard is a retired high-energy particle physicist, currently holding the position of Professor Emeritus of Physics at the Open University. In this compilation of ten videos, Prof. Stannard talks about subjects ranging from free will and determinism, to space and the nature of time, in this 10-part series, Boundaries of the Knowable. Did you like this topic? What interesting space facts did you learn? Let us know in the comments section below!
Once again, a huge thanks to Lee for recommending these videos and to Prof. Stannard and the Open University. You can learn more about their channel here:

Interesting that you cut an earthworm in half.
Studies on earthworm severing have produced some unexpected results.
When you cut a worm in half the tail bit will grow a new head and the head bit will grow a new tail, thus giving you two new worms.
The process is sensitive to electrical responses so you can cause a one headed bit of worm to grow another head ending up with 2 headed worms. Likewise you can end up with worms with two tails.
The interesting part of this research is that if you cut the 2 headed worm in half the two halves also grow into two headed worms. Implying that this trait is passed on in just one generation.
They have also taken worm cutting into zero gravity situations
