I'd like to thank this channel for inspiring me to stop playing a sheep, and actually start living my life. I've just started 2 days ago to live by the seek discomfort and take that small marginal step, and it has already improved my mindset so much. It's still soon but I have started telling myself to get up in the mornings and run around my college campus. I'm usually not the type of person who likes to talk to strangers, so I started small by saying two simple words while on my run to people "good morning". After the first time saying it became so much easier to do it over and over again. The next day I challenged myself to step out of my comfort zone and ask a random stranger to buy me a soda. Again it was hard to make myself do it, and the first person I asked said no, but I realized it was not that bad/hard to just ask, so I kept asking other people. After 10 minutes I finally found that person who said yes, I shook her hand and exchanged names and said thank you. After which I went on a walk and got a bite to eat at a food truck(with the soda I was gifted). I passed on the kindness I was given with a tip (usually I don't tip at food trucks or fast food restaurants). I went and sat down to eat my food, when I saw some turkeys blocking the road, at first I sat down and watched cars honking at them hoping that they would move, but they never did. I saw pedestrians take their phones out and record the disruptive turkeys. I saw how no one took the action to get the turkeys off the road, so I put my food down and I walked over to the street and I chased the turkeys away. People laughed at me and took out their phones to record this 18-year-old kid clapping at turkeys and getting them to follow me off the road. As I finally got them off the streets, the cars who were stopped because of the turkeys started rolling down their windows with a smile and said thank you. It was at this moment I realized that I loved being that someone, the one everyone thinks someone else would do it. I'm going to try my best to keep living this lifestyle, as this is truly the way to explore and enjoy life. Thank you guys, Seek Discomfort.

I also recently started seeking discomfort, doing all the little things that I've felt uncomfortable doing and the overall impact in my life has been amazing.

I’m a disabled 34 y.o. dad of 4, my affliction is based mostly out of extreme anxiety, agoraphobic, and ocd; which involves a lot of procrastination around getting even basic stuff done sometimes.
You guys’ constantly seeking discomfort causes me to then derive motivation from the source energy that is the source of all of our strengths, mutually. :)

I just wanna thank you yes theory for the joy and entertainment you bring for guys like me. I suffer from an Anxiety Disorder and everytime I have panic attacks I just watch your videos. And is important for people like you and many others to know this so they can know that they can make a difference in the world and stop it. If we want to keep living in this world we need stop climate change because if we don’t stop it our world is going to be completely destroyed.

This probably will not be seen by you amazing people but i feel that i wanna share that your channel has brought so much joy to my life and actually inspired me to go on a 30 mile backpacking trip down an abandoned railway track on the salmonberry river in oregon. I was very hesitant when my friends proposed the idea to go i know its not that far but it took me far outside my comfort zone of sitting around the house playing video games. I completed the trip even though it rained and had 30 mph winds on the last day and was completely soaked by the end of the trip i thank you for giving me the courage to make this possible and its a memory i will never forget. Keep it up yes theory your inspiring people like me from small towns to seek discomfort and enjoy life rather then letting it pass by.
