    Thanks for the excellent advice. I was wondering how thick a layer of cloth needed to be for sand flies to be unable to penetrate? (I have had mosquitoes penetrate thin cloth in a shirt.) By the way, I have used the same technique for mosquitoes that you mentioned: air moving briskly. It is actually very effective to have a strong fan going to make it difficult for flying insects to navigate, it's even better if it's a 5 KPH breeze.

      Sandflies are quite small so all thickness of clothing should do :)

    BUY baby oil or any type of oil you prefer and a bottle of disinfectant ie savlon MIX EQUAL QUANTATIES IN A SEPERATE CONTAINERS OF EACH AND SHAKE WELL .RUB IT ON ALL AREAS NEEDED WORKS WELL AND VERY GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN

    Although RAID is highly effective against cockroaches Sand Flies are immune. Any commercial product recommended would be helpful.
    4am and l am awake trying to avoid them

    Lying in bed one attacking me at 4am Woke up with loads of bites _Raid ineffective._ Shaking a plastic bag to keep it away. 😪

    Marmite is meant to be eaten in _minute_ proportions with lots of butter The mistake people make is using too much
