alright lady from the internet, I'm trusting you on this whole thing and trying this on mine, cause I'm at my wits end with my hair and this sounds legit haha, thank you for sharing
Hey! Here’s a Routine you should try. (My routine) from a curly girl 1 in the shower, shampoo, your hair and condition it or use a deep conditioner mask use a brush dangle only in the shower. 2 once out of the shower, spray your head down with more water make sure it’s dripping wet and put a leave in conditioner. 3 then rake in a curl cream 4 use a brush and brush style That when you brush at a certain angle and shake your hair clumps. 5 scrunch! 6 scrunch in mousse 7 put a lightweight gel on it 8 diffuser hair, starting at the roots first on the lowest temperature in air then start taking little sections of your hair and diffusing it not too fast then I’ll get frizzy. The key is to be patient. Your hair is very frizzy, so most likely need to moisture and this routine Hope this helps! ❤😊 Let me know if you try this routine
The point is to get moisture in your hair. You took the moisture away by towel drying. Squeeze the hair out, add a bit of gel, scrunch more and diffuse.
You should try the ice method for frizzy hair!❤ Then dip your hair in the ice bocket a few times the once your done scrunch your hair for 1 or 2 mins, then put a leave in conditioner and moose and scrunch it again for 2 mins this time. Then defuse it. ❤❤❤
I do the bowl method a trick is to not put to Much hair product in because when you scrunch it out and all the produc goes back in to the bowl and then another thing is to not put it in a towel because it takes away the curls so after you do the bowl like 5 times I would recommend diffusing it with cold air or just air drying it and when you air dry it scrunch it every once in a while. Oh and also keep a little bit of of your conditioner in from the shower so definitely keep your shower before .Hope it helps! ❤
Here’s what I do for thick wavy hair. Wash with a shampoo and conditioner. On SOAKING we hair rake in a styling cream and a light gel (not your mothers gel is wavy hair gold). Then use a denman brush and brush away from your head. This will help to create sections. Next. Separate a few pieces from the top of your head by hand to add some definition later on. Go from the wet sectioned hair to scrunching with a cotton t shirt. Don’t be too aggressive with scrunching make sure to have light movements as to not break curl pattern too much. Then diffuse hair as you normally would.
Still think your hair is gorgeous! This is just a suggestion (you don’t have to do it) but once I get out of the shower, I rake a leave-in conditioner in (I use the brand Emerge), a curl cream, then I brush my hair in sections up and away from my face, then scrunch in a gel or mousse.
Have you tried using some defining products like creams or gels? If it doesn't work it may need deep hydration, nutrition or some protein mask. I also had very messy wavy hair and learning how to treat it is changing it for the better
You gotta use moistrizing product in your hair before you dunk like a curl cream then after dunking and scrunching the water out apply a gel or mousse to form a cast while diffusing so you have more definition and less frizz
You should try this method! It helps so much and it's easy to do! First, wet up your hair with warm water (30°C mostly), then, pour coconut milk shampoo and lather with 1l of water, then scrub it on your scalp and roots GENTLY and then rinse it with warm water. Pour some conditioner from the same brand and rub it on your ends, put your hair in a shower cap for 5 or 10 minutes and rinse it out with cold water. Rub shampoo on all of your hair, and rinse with cold water. Condition your scalp and roots and rinse with hot water. Untangle it and dry it while brushing, then straighten your hair 1 by 1 and then brush it after every stroke. Hope this helped!
Ok I tried this too and idk if it was the moose or what BUUUUT like before my hair had CURLS and it was the first time in a long time it had actual curls (I finally used the custom shampoo, conditioner, and curl cream) but when it was time for a wash I tried this after and it made my hair feel and look odd. Like it made my hair so heavy and it pulled out all my curls but literally every curly hair influencer swears by this method but my hair words SO MUCH BETTER with gel and oil so idk but I’m glad to see someone else who isn’t obsessed with this method!
It’s never worked for me, either. I can only try something so many times before I chalk it up to “it sucks”.🤣 I swear there’s something people are leaving out in their videos.
my hair is like this gurl. And to get curls you have to first get your hair wet and just apply some coconut oil or any other oil while your hair is wet and remember to untangle your hair while its wet :) And plz air dry it.
What you should do is while you’re in the shower soak your hair. Absolutely soak it with water and conditioner. Brush your hair in the shower. As soon as you get out the shower do not dry your hair and needs to be sopping wet immediately start doing your hair put in all of your all of your products and rake it through your hair, scrunch your hair they need defuse it it should look gorgeous.❤️❤️
If you use heat on your your hair at all without heat protectant, it is likely damaged at this point 😅you gotta train it back to health basically now. You can still get damage with heat protection just fyi!
my hair is definitely confused. it wants to be straight but it’s wavy, if that makes any sense. like, it tried to behave like straight hair would, but it has random waves, so it just looks… bad?

Because it just doesn't work for some people honestly. Everyone online wants to act like everything works for everybody and it just doesn't and I'm sure the comments are filled with people telling you all the things you did wrong when in fact you did everything right it just doesn't work for you
Yes you’re right but, I’d suggest her to do it after her normal shower instead, not using a normal towel instead use a T-shirt to plop and un plop her hair flipped over and diffuse flipped over. Just some tips. And if it doesn’t work after that than it doesn’t work for her and thats fine were all different💙
when drying with a hairdryer try taking little sections of the hair and brush through while drying roughly 75% of that section then twirl that section around your finger following the natural curl patten and let it sit for a couple of seconds and follow with the rest, I saw it done in a hair salon on one of their training days - mind you i did not pay attention to what they did to prep the hair but im guessing they added products before using the hairdryer to prevent frizziness
My simple curly hair routine: Oil your hair and leave it for 2 hours Wash with shampoo (any shampoo) Condition lengths and ends and leave for a few mins Rinse thoroughly Squeeze and scrunch with flax seed gel and leave to air dry. This works for me and it's affordable 🥰
I recommend not drying it in a shirt or a towel, just wash it and put a mousse on when the hair is still wet, scrunch before and after the mousse and then use the diffuser on the wet hair :) works like a charm

You had the crunchiness and stiffness because you didn't add oil at the end. The mousse makes the hair stiff and create a cast. To break the cast(to make it not crunch and stiff), you HAVE to add oil.
Hope this helps:)
Use a curl cream or a leave in
Don’t just apply mousse
Add a base to help with moisture
try defusing with hair upside down and only stand up when 90 percent dry
You are supposed to put in oil after you diffuse it to “break the cast”

Let them airdry to make the clumps become curls
Use warm water and rinse the hair
Apply conditioner/hair mask
Leave it on for 5 mins
