I'm a graphic designer and a few weeks ago I noticed that a lot of my designs and illustrations had been ripped off and were being sold on several websites without my consent and they were literally MAKING MONEY off my back. It really sucks. Hope you work things out soon man.

Same here I got my work stolen a few times before now I'm done publishing without compensation.
Please forgive my ignorance, but wouldn't be better if you use a water mark on the image, illustration when you publish your work. And when someone wants it, sell it without the white mark, o a smaller one.
This was a big deal on DeviantArt when it came out a guy was selling prints of work from various artists from DeviantArt. Now if anyone posts anything to DeviantArt it automatically receives copyright fine print because of that. Pretty underhanded, artists don't receive much for their work already.

Had the same thing happen with one of my videos. Stolen to facebook to advertise the item I was reviewing. They had 2.8 million views. I was able to stop it based on copyright through facebook. The company then contacted me and licensed the video. I totally get how frustrating it is to have someone steal your work.

It's one thing if it's just people sharing shit for free and don't profit at all from it which is why I think the line needs to be drawn but I agree. This isn't really anything to do with 'copyright' though, this is out and out plagiarism, these types of companies and people really are properly stealing other peoples' work and claiming it as their own. I say this as somebody who is going to be an indie dev as well.

Noo im two years too late. You could have gotten a very, and i mean very, large settlement from Instagram for you to not disclose the lack of reporting function in ads. They would be in breach of a number of copyright laws in the US.

@Comfy Diatribe not true in europe anymore- the platform is responsible for the content on it. Which leads to upload-filters and other crazy stuff and makes it impossible for a small website to do something similar than youtube does because they have to be afraid of copyright claims

Happened to a few of my friends, some ad stole their videos and was scamming people with those ads, and no matter how much we reported it, they would relist the ad under a different company name. Took 2-3 years before it finally stopped.
LOL. I like how after this video ended and the next one autoplayed i was shown a preroll ad for the instagram app. The funny part is the music the ad used had the classic Audiojungle watermark playing throughout.
I think janky things are going down in instagram’s ad related departments.

This video is a bit hard to follow because of the switch between two different things happening. First I'm focusing on the matter of the Ad issue, then suddenly it switches to something completely different relating to something else. It's difficult to maintain any concentration as a result and cutting off from a story and into something different is frustrating.
Also there is no beginning, middle or end here.
Just my general feedback.
They make kind of a blog where the highlight is the title and the rest is...everyday stuff.
