Turned out beautiful! I would not distress as I think that having one piece without it is refreshing.
The chair is beautifully painted.
You did it again ... magnificent job & thank you for sharing painting techniques!
Great looking chair. Loves beautiful in your bedroom, and the pillow, just the right touch. 🦋🥰🦋
Oh that turned out beautifully!!! Wonderful job!!
Oh My Robin, this came out beautifully! What a transformation! I Love it...So Cottage Farmhouse. It is Gorgeous for sure. You are such an Artist😉 God Bless😘
Love the chair!! I'm not a fan of distressing. It always looks great on some projects but this chair is perfect just as you painted it . You were right ( as usual!🌞❤ )
Thank you the detailed instructions.
You are so good!!❤😊🌞
WOW! The chair looks so much better! Thanks for the tips!
I have been searching high and low for chairs like that. Just lovely Robin.
Wonderful job, Robin! Something tells me if you distress it, it's just gonna look like an old, dated chair. Undistressed it looks so fresh & clean. Adding round pillow & throw or quilt, adds the aged look to it. You have the eye for every detail!❤🇺🇸❤
Robin I love your chair! Personally I'm glad you didn't distress it. Thank for the tips and thank you for sharing 🙂❤️
So glad you like the chairs new look, I am so pleased with it.
Oh Robin! Awesome vision for your chair! It turned out perfect! Loved seeing you do this as I’m sure more than a few of your subscribers will find inspiration in your project. Thanks for sharing!
Looks really nice glad you painted it white well done
It looks so much better now I think. Thanks for watching
It looks like a brand new chair, Robin! It looks so much better painted white... I love it! 💞
Yes it does and I love it even more now. Thanks for watching
Robin, that looks so fresh. Thank you for all the tips. It will surely save me some time if I decide to take on a project like this. As usual it looks fantastic and I love the white pillow!!
It turned out good right! The pillow is from Hobby Lobby
So pretty! Loved the way you styled it in the room. Gorgeous!
Wow...thank you so much for filming this! The quality of the chair looked great to start with but you really brought it to a whole new level. I have to say I love a weathered/dated look but the solid white brings out a "traditional" style that you seldom see with white furniture. Great job Robin!
I like the weathered look too as you know so we will see how long it stays like this lol
That is a great job on the chair!!! Thanks for all the tips!
Stunning result. You've given me the confidence to get to a similar project that I've been putting off because of the cane. Thankyou!
The chair looks beautiful!! I used to use a large pill defuzzer on my sweaters and a pillow that would pill up until someone told me to use a disposable razor. It made all the difference in the world! It came off so easy & quick. I bet it would work on your chair also. Just a thought.
I thought about that while I was working on this chair, wondering if it would work! Thanks for letting me know it will. I am sure I will have another project to try it out on
Robin you did a great job AGAIN!!! It turned out gorgeous!!! I love how you styled it in your bedroom.❤️
Thank you so much. I love how it turned out.
the chair looks beautiful Robin.
Beautiful with your red accents!
Wow! You made an awesome chair even more amazing. I love how it turned out! Thank you for showing us the details of how you did this. I would like to try giving chair a makeover now. 😊
Your chair is beautiful. I think that you did a great job. Love the results!
Thank you so much for this video! I have a similar chair on my to do list to update and now I feel much more confident tackling it!
Really beautiful transformation. I was waiting to see you distress it but you fooled me! I will readily admit that’s my preference for your décor-almost like your signature look if you get my meaning. But as you said, that can be done at a later date if you choose to, so let us know if you do! Thanks for another great tutorial 😊
Lol, I do like the distressed look for sure but for some reason I thought I might give this one a go without it. Time will tell. Thanks so much for watching
Awesome. I now have confidence to do couple pieces I have!!
Love it! What a transformation.
Beautiful, Robin!
Love the chair. Liked it before but it's so much better now
I totally agree with you, thanks
Very nice. I never thought to use primer on something like that, but it makes sense once you said it. Thanks.

Thanks so much, it turned out really well. I am really getting excited for the room makeover also. I am still hunting for a few more items but soon, very soon
Much prettier in white
Awesome 👍👍
❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful job as always! I recently found one just like your for $7 at a yard sale. I love the darker wood, so am not changing it. It’s a great occasional chair for the living room.
For $5 I found one similar in a blonde wood and would like to paint it darker. Would I have to sand it to paint or stain it walnut? I’m not sure about the process to go darker.
Thanks for another great DIY project❣️
That is something that I have never done so I am sorry to say I don't have and tips to share!
@@RobinJohnsonDecor Hi Robin! Thanks for quick response. I’ll do some CZcams research on it. Happy Fourth of July to you and family❣️🇺🇸🇺🇸😊
✅🥰
What no one ever tells anyone is painting chaining makes in dry out and become brittle in normally falls out, was in a couple of years.
You did a great job, especially on the cane webbing. Sometimes people will use too much paint on the brush and will clog the holes. Your painting method did not do that.
I have seen that happen too, not a fun look for sure. Thanks so much for watching
