THIS MUSIC IS NOT MY OWN!! A special thank you to LAKEY INSPIRED: • LAKEY INSPIRED - Overj...
I am extremely proud of you!!!
This doesn’t apply to out of state. Less than an acceptance 9% rate for out of state- son denied with 5.2 GPA and 1520 SAT. With a lot of EC including study a broad, professional acting experience, 4 yr wrestling varsity, team captain, NHs, mentor, and summer counselor. Plus 11 APs ( with 4 &5) and 4 yrs foreign language.
With 4 recommendations.
Anyway just want to lay it out so out of state applicants don’t feel bad if not accepted as UNC requires 82% in state.
If you have something special like first generation or life experience that totally stand out, you might have a better chance. The best chance to get in is to live in NC.
I applied to Chapel and I am soooo nervous, with my 27 ACT score because I thought it was really low for them. I’m glad you got accepted and I hope I can too
I think you will be fine!!!💘
did u get in
@@1ordmag I did! I’m currently a sophomore psychology major who’s applying into nursing this year :)
@@madisonpogue4915what was your gpa? I also have a 27 and am scared😂
I love your room!!!
Thank you!!❤️
What gpa range would you say allows for us to take more emphasis off our sat? 3.7? 3.8? 3.9? 4?
Great question! In order to take emphasis off of your SAT/ACT I would recommend setting your GPA goal at a 4.0. If your GPA is more than this that’s great and if it is slightly less consider taking another AP/Honors course so that you reach your goal.
If I have a 5.4 weighted 3.89 unweighted do u think I could get admitted
Yes!!!
Congratulations! But this is insane. I had a 5.1 GPA, graduated 6th in my class, and had a 33 ACT and got flat out rejected.
Are you out of state unc favors in state more than out of state
@@goodnessmirikwe6595 yup, out of state and that’s what I figured

Forget collage it’s a debt machine.....you’ve been lied to
Hey! Thank you for the video!! So I am a senior (I am in-state) I have a 4.3 weighted and 3.7 unweighted (I took calc over virtual school bc of covid and I rlly messed up my grades in that class with that environment - I had consistent A's until calc), I am the president of DECA at my school and have placed at international comp in DECA, I have had a board position in Key Club since sophomore year, I have done Varsity Women's Tennis all years (except covid year), I had an internship at Lenovo over the summer, and I do some other smaller side stuff. I don't know if I plan on submitting my SAT score because it's low - do you think I got a shot if I don't submit my SAT score? Lol, I would dm you privately but I'm not sure what your insta is!
Omg thatsw so impressive😭if u don't mind sharing, did u get in🥹
