hey!! i go to unc and im wondering how i can schedule an appointment to see my file. Its through mycarolina right? bc ive been looking at the document appointment calendar for months and they have no appointments scheduled nor open 😭😭
I didn’t do it through my Carolina. I just emailed them and kept following up! It took a min but u should be able to set an appt soon

Hey, I just checked mine today, I got a 7,7,7,5 and i actually only had one reader, she/he admitted me and wrote something like good ECs, mentioned some of my activities and wrote that they believe i will do great here.
I applied earlier this year, and I am honestly not hoping for anything from it because this is the only reach school on my list. But we will see, I guess😅.

i’m a senior in high school and i really want to get into unc, i’ve had straight a’s my junior year. do you think if i make straight a’s and keep my gpa a 4.0 do you think i would get accepted without taking ap classes?
I don't think ap classes are a must. I recommend making sure you have extracurriculars where you've left made an impact and well-written essays as well since your grades are good
So basically the unc 7 is the equivalent of the harvard 2 for extracurriculars.

Yes i believe it was considered in the summary of my high school stats but it wasn't a huge part of what the advisor mentioned to me

Thank you! And I sent an email to admissions asking to book an appointment to discuss. They don't give u the file but they read it off to you via zoom so I just took notes/pictures

I just got rejected and I don’t know why.. I’m about to email them I’m so angry I feel defeated and like I haven’t done enough.
Although I didn't get rejected here, I def know and hate the feeling of being rejected. If it makes u feel any better, you can try emailing them to see why. But just know, that when one door closes, another will open for you 💛 if you know you put forth your best effort, then they're prob the ones missing out!

@@kenekae girl I emailed them and they literally said that people that got rejected they are not required to send them any information on why they were rejected 😐😐😐 that makes no sense at all because why would I want to see my notes and scores IF I GOT IN?
How do I request my admissions file?
Hi, I emailed the admissions office! I was consistent and kept following up if necessary. Then I was able to meet with them since they don't release it directly
