Seeing him wilt with failure against seemingly definitive victory is the funniest thing ever. Am I the only one who had stomach cramps laughing when he died against a boss who only had a sliver of health left?
I love that in videos like these, even if the challenge isn't specifically 1-hitting every boss, most folks get a boss down to 85% and say "Eh, we can do better, let's come back later."

I just love how mistaken I was with elden ring period, why you ask? Because this was basically my build for first play through, full frenzy fire damage and blasphemous blade will make the game an utter cake walk and I guess the only skills in this game is knowing when you see something if it’s strong, oh my sweet lord, is frenzied flame so fucking strong

I like the change of pace of this one. Squeezing out all the power you can in a slightly niche build is just as entertaining as making a very minimalistic build
It's probably even more fascinating because you now get to see every relevant mechanic being utilized to its full potential in order to make the niche build work.
It'd be cool if Inescapable Frenzy could be used where you'd normally be able to do a critical hit. So like, you stance break a boss and then you grab their face and frenzy blast them for big damage, even if it's a boss that you normally wouldn't be able to use Inescapable Frenzy on.

It’s a shame it isn’t as abusable as Lifesteal Fist, considering they both do a unique grab animation. Just LSF works on non tarnished characters, such as basic soldiers, knights and even Crucible Knights, the latter can’t even block it.

RIP the animators, they would need to make two special animations for each boss (one for the boss and one for the tarnished) for just one spell 💀💀💀

The animations for the bosses reaction wouldn't have to be that different than their normal critical attack reaction animations. Same goes for the player animation, it wouldn't have to be that different than the regular Inescapable Frenzy animation. It's definitely doable, the groundwork is already there.

Yeah, It is literally Madness comet azur, didn't know how strong It was, in fact, in elden ring, with the correct set Up, a lot of weapons are really op
Im currently using it in combination with the broken breath attacks on my arcane build, same idea
You can do the same thing with astel’s meteorite and fp tear, the infinite tear is pretty busted.

Most people don’t realize that Elden Beast actually has 50% fire resistance, so these kind of builds aren’t really great for it. It has a flat 40% resistance to most elemental damage, and the arena is entirely water, so it always has an extra 10% negation.
Thank God for the black flame it carried me through that fight.
Lightning damage is surprisingly effective against Elden Beast!

A little late, but the Fire Prelate set, in addition to being way more fashionable than Bull Goat's, and almost as tanky, also has some of the best Focus for resisting self-Frenzy in the game. Shame you gotta farm for it though.
Edit: also, the Frenzied Flame Seal is the best to cast Inescapable Frenzy through; offhand seal buffs stop working during the grab animation, and the innate 45 madness on the seal itself applies to every tic of damage, proc'ing Madness even more often than 99 Arc Dragon Communion could. Both of these together means that FFS will do more total damage unless it's at +0 or or something vs a +10 seal.
The frenzied flame seal is best if you're scaling in something other than faith only
which hands hould I use the frenzy seal? off hand or main hand?
Madness doesn't proc on NPCs, or bosses only procs on Tarnished or NPC invaders

Frenzied flame spells are always fun to play around with. I never try for a one shot on bosses like this, but I find it fun. My favorite fight with Gideon was using Inescapable Frenzy on him. No one shot, as the video showed, but it feels to me like your killing him by just shouting in his face. It's also kind of satisfying how Elden Beast can't run from you when you have Frenzied Burst.

Frenzied flame is so much fun, and the end is the coolest one too. Nice to see how powerful it can actually be if you use all available tricks
11:33 You can kill Millicent immediately after she stands up after you've given her the Unalloyed Gold Needle if you don't need/want the Millicent's Prosthesis Talisman and only want the Flock's Canvas Talisman since the trigger for Gowry entering his sad mode is just Millicent dying at any point.
Other than that, this was a fun run. Good job!
P.S. If you didn't know, NPCs don't input read and dodge Frenzied Burst so it turns NPC Invaders and Gideon into joke fights. It also turns Malenia's first phase into a joke since she will never dodge it due to the mentioned reasons and you can always be away from her in her first phase since the spell has huge range and since Malenia isn't as aggressive in her first phase as she is in her second.
i gotta say, i greatly appreciate you showing the different buffs/equipments, together with what they do and the map placements when using the build , it makes it much easier to follow and potentially try ourselves!
I've watched almost all of Bushy's Elden Ring challenge videos, and this one was by far one of the most fun to watch. Really liked seeing him enjoy this one.
Really like the Frenzy Incantations, but only ever found maybe 2 of them in my playthrough, really cool to see the ones I missed out on, and how powerful a build this can be.
Can we all just appreciate that it took this man less time - by a third, no less - to beat the game eight times over, than it took him to one-shot most bosses?

I love the frenzied flame lore. It's not "lul burn tree" like so many people seem to think.
The Frenzied Flame is sorrow and misery. The oppressed, the downtrodden,the meak and miserable, driven to the brink. The Frenzied Flame offers them an escape, a way to end the suffering. Burn the world away, until there is no suffering left. An incredibly dark and depressing ending, but one I sympathize with having been in a similar state of mind once.
Being chronically depressed since start of my puberty, I totally related to its lore, and it was thus my first playthrough without thinking twice.

Lmao WHAT? The Frenzied Flame ending is burning absolutely literally everything in all of existence, leaving a primordial mess of matter that has no form, leaving quite genuinely nothing left. It isn't a restart, it isn't just the "end of suffering", it's the end of LITERALLY everything. That isn't an escape, it's a stupid & selfish desire to not feel the negative things any longer. It isn't just a stupid grimdark ending, it's THE stupid grimdark ending. How anyone can actually sympathize with something like that is beyond me, & speaks to an unreasonable amount of selfish misery. Frenzy builds are so fun. I went one run with the Frenzied ending and it was the most fun I had in Elden Ring
I’m no super player, but having completed the game 9/10 times and tried loads of builds, a pure faith build based around frenzied flame was by far the most fun and easiest. Cipher pata and then coded sword as r/h armament with finger seal. A brilliant build.
I've always taken an interest in the flame of frenzy, but this vid inspired me to do a run for myself. Thank you, Bushy, you've been my favorite CZcamsr for a while now, and I really appreciate your content.

I think they should have a unique death animation, for example, if you kill elden beast with a frenzied flame incantation, it will drop it's sword, and sorta hold its eyes or something, and then fall over, still holding it's eyes

Little hidden fact, you can combine shabriri's howl with inescapable frenzy. If you use howl to boost your madness bar, reaching a state of madness during inescapable frenzy, the damage you would initially take transfers to whomever you have in your grasp...

The frenzied flame is more than that though, it's nihilism made manifest. All the suffering of the Lands Between. All the injustice and oppression of the Golden Order, cleansed and burned away.

I could never imagine being a legit CZcamsr. I recorded most of my only playthrough on my PS5 (even tho I failed to record Fire Giant, and my win against the last 3 bosses...), and I completed that Playthrough months ago. Yet I have had zero time or motivation to work on any kind of videos off of them (too busy with work, and other pictures/videos to work on).
Yet this man quickly finishes wacky playthroughs for shits & giggles, and makes so much quality content at insane speeds like it's nothing. I don't care what anyone says: This shit is impressive as FUCK. Huge fucking props for all the great work 🙌

tbf frenzied flame spells have some of the best stance breaking i've seen throughout 180 hours of playing, spreading madness is a dual sided blade to be weary against players, but very fun. it's even better playing the convergence mod, frenzied flame gets a lot of support it needs.

It's neat how you can tell some of the spells apart by the way the player grabs their face. Frenzied burst has you look up while grabbing your face, frenzied flame has you look down etc.

Man, your vids make me wanna play Elden Ring again. However I told myself I would wait for the DLC to come out for my next playtrough haha.
I did a ng+7 run with nothing but frenzied flame related items. Frenzied flame seal, vykes war spear, fingerprint shield, and only frenzied flame incantations. And my armor was a combination of corhyn and gold mask. So basically no protection. I had no buffs other than talismans and mixed physic. It was the hardest run I have ever done and I’m now on ng+13. It was an awful experience but it forced me to get really good at the game and I’m glad I did it.

This was a nice breath of fresh air being able to one shot bosses but Bushy also having to use his gigabrain to adapt to certain bosses was fantastic.

so after I watched this I decided to begin my own madness only-ish playthrough while also using this as a bit of a guide, this was a bit of a mistake since I don't know how to traverse places like volcano manor so getting the black dumpling and somber stones were painful.
fun fact: in the latest patch they fixed some bugs with the jellyfish shield, this failed as when you use it in conjunction with say... frenzy spells it makes it so you can do absolutely no damage at all

I love watching people do this stuff. I myself do terrible against bosses when I take a bunch of buffs first. I just feel too much pressure to succeed before they run out and end up fucking up. 🤷♂️
A little tip for the inescapable frenzy, have main hand weapon something with effect like bleed and offhand seal, it will do much more damage.
