- There's something particularly satisfying about accomplishing two jobs at the same time. With the Chipper/shredder attachment for BCS Two-Wheel Tractors, you can clean up unsightly piles of brush and limbs, while creating valuable mulch material for your plantings. The power of this compact but powerful chipping action has to be seen to be believed. The output is a uniform chipped wood product suitable for ground covering, or mulch.

Could this work if attached to a BCS 738 with Honda gasoline engine of 270cm3 - 6,3KW
Yes, the Honda GX270 has plenty of power to run the Chipper/Shredder attachment. Thanks!
Could this also be used to shred leaves?
Yes! The chipper/shredder comes with a 35mm screen and a set of rods/rollers. If you swap out the screen with the rods/rollers, it handles wet material very well.
Plate that holds the wheels is not thick enough to support this chipper. The chipper works very well but the way the wheels are set up requires a recall. The wheels are bending the plate. Tried emailing the BCS with no response, Hopefully I will get someone to contact me about this problem. If I want to take the shredder out now I have to run it backwards ... a real pain. Have used it to shred only four times with maybe 16 hrs of chipping, virtually a new unit purchased along with the 853 and three other attachments. I need to be able to roll this thing around my farm without worrying about my wheels folding back on me.
Hi @truehealthnow,
Can you give us a call (800-543-1040) or email info@bcsamerica.com so we can help out? Sorry if you haven't gotten a response, we're looking back through our emails now!
@@BCSAmerica Will do ... thank you. I will update here.
@@truehealthnow Any update?
@@EastonRichmond Yes, the problem was that it was not assemble properly, and it has been corrected by the dealer. They also replaced the wheels to facilitate movement. They are larger than the originals, but I'm not sure this was essential. I think it was really the way it was assembled that caused the problem. The bigger wheels won't hurt though. I think now I can take it pretty much anywhere except into the forest ... but I haven't tried to so ?
Eleven years ago. Gee. Maybe some updates.
