tip for using spinning death: use plasma trails for big dps as it'll be constantly spinning and creating more trails of plasma in a concentrated area

On EDDs you should probably wait for a random to join so you have a full 4 stack, they are very difficult with just 3.

I'm always doing it solo bcs of very scaling difficulty, so when u full stack its rly harder and nitra more needed
Maybe it's not super useful tip for your group specifically, but having a gunner on EDD is very helpful overall. Especially for ammo-efficient swarm control with AoE weapons and clutch shield.

I love spinning death, that and inferno are definitely my favorite BC overclocks
Weirdly, the BC can never damage YOU if you fired it, so you can stand inside the spinning death with no problems. (Also, spinning death does very little friendly fire in general - I think it’s like 2 or 3 damage per hit - but it feels like a lot because it causes lots of screen shake. Lachy almost certainly died to a tri-jaw in that first clip, not you 👍)
I’ve done stuff like shoot spinning death at the space around a downed dwarf so it protects me from grunts while I revive. It can have a hard time with mactera like you saw, but if you use platforms to make some choke points it really shreds. Heck, even a natural corner in a tunnel can be enough if you position it right…
True yeah I kinda like spinning death, but I wanna try out a high ammo build for once. So far seems good. Breach cutter is still good at base damage

Spinning Death doesn't actually cause that much friendly damage.
The nice thing about Black Boxes is that they're secondaries, so they won't fail the mission if you fail them. You can just bail and try again.
3:35 One of Driller's jobs is to clear terrain to remove obstructions and open up sightlines.
I didn't know that about black boxes. So should you just ignore them. What's the point of even doing them?
@@DrDevvi You can't beat the mission without completing the Black Box. I'm just saying that failing them won't automatically fail the mission, so if they get too spicy you can simply retreat and try them again.
@@ethantarr9130 ah gotcha yeah. That black box in the tunnel sucked though. Easy to get stuck and nowhere to go

Something I usually find worth doing for point defense is trying to clear as much space directly around the objective as reasonably possible. Also if you want to tell if your eggs are still fresh try placing them in a glass of cool water, if they float they are going bad.
Does this tip apply to egg hunt missions?

Why not have 4 players in your edd? if your party only has 3, allow random players to join. Gunner is extremely helpful on higher difficulties with his sustained damage and mighty shields, skipping him doesn't do you favors.
for uplink, aside deploying both sentries BEFORE starting it, driller can remove outer walls to have more space to dodge at, while engineer can help even the floor (cover holes that mess with movement).
for building pipes, use your platforms for better build spots
falling down? shoot a platform below you, either connecting to nearby wall (if any) or at least at the spot you fall to (which reduces fall damage somewhat)
good tips here. id like to see our scout play more gunner on deep dives so he doesnt keep grappling away and leaving me to fend for myself lol.

@@DrDevvi yep, very fun when stage 3 is Elites and you get an Elite Bulk Detonator spawning. Definitely will scare the shit out of you with how fast they move.

I know that the idea of a shocking SMG sounds great but your only options with it is really just "Have ammo but no Damage" or "Have Damage but out of ammo"
I think pretty much all of the engineers primary's are mid. The only reason engi is good is a combination of his sentry guns and breach cutter to deal with hordes. And shredder drones are great as well. I think he's pretty balanced though cause I consider him a defence/support character

Is it just me, or is there always a blackbox when theres Mactera Plauge on a edd stage.
EDD+Blackbox+Mactera Plauge is the most annoying and stupidly hard combination

Like bro your' re so good at editing that you make really good content And i loved the parts where you were saying: " did you die????", the timing of that part was perfect,when you started the alphabet count down, the cool walk in with the explosion behind, expecially the last mission, that was fun ag, and overall your editing in general, and you know when you should be serious, during the match, and when to make the audience laugh. If you keep up, and i hope so, you might become relevant, if not even famous. Anyways, loved this video and your Vids in general. Drg is just underrated, and i don't see many good youtubers making good videos on this topic. And so, your' re underrated too, sadly. Keep up the good work!
