I really like Elite deep dives when people don't kick me out because of my low level, the team is usually stacked and stay together a lot of the time not to mention about objective doing.
While your crafting materials wont spawn during a deep dive (and this usually includes cargo crates or lost mining gear) that doesnt mean Hoarders cant spawn.
My biggest obstacle for deep dives is getting one big block of time to play a dive. Rarer than dystrum it seems
One thing that you forgot to cover that i figured by doing deep dives, is that your Utility tool and traversal tools regenerate all their ammo automatically, for free, every stage of the deep dive, like turret ammo, C4, driller full, scout flares, ziplines, shield emitters, platform pancakes, etc.
I always do my dives solo. In my first time I had to run around the cave with only my hook and no ammo (I am a scout main) for an hour straight to finish the last stage
I've been doing a lot of missions solo scout lately. First it was for the achievement but now it's just easier sometimes. Bosco is more helpful than random people joining sometimes 😅
@@tonylarose4842Bosco is goated. Literally does what I want 😆
I stumbled upon this video too late, just did a deep dive with my friends the other day, and we almost died from a Dreadnought Hiveguard while I was wondering what that weird beeping sound was... during a Low Oxygen mutator
Useful Deep Dive Tip: Engineer's Sentry Gun ammo reserves *do* refill after each of the 3 stages. (Or at least they did last I played.)
All utility and traversal tools do this.
I only got this game 2 weeks ago on steam and I’ve already got 40+ hours on it - and I’ve got to say it’s got one hell of a community. Every time I entered a team as a low level scout I expected some sort of ridicule but no - it was always just rock and stone. I’ve got my Scout promoted now and it’s definitely my favorite class.
LOL, this video got out literally when I started my 1-st deep dive
If anybody wondering I've finished it successfully
Good info, but one question: if you start a Deep Dive and complete the first two missions, but wipe on the third, do you still get the two Matrix cores at the end?
Yes, you get them immediately after you finish a stage
Yes
nice, i dont really care so much about the cosmetics, but the weapon matrix is what im planning to get, maybe it's my time to try elite deep dive ( even though i primarily play at haz 2&3)
Yes, but to get the last one, you need to restart and do all of them.
How did you do that ?
That thing with the subscribe button borders
I tried deep dives, but the deep divers are waaay different than "normal mission" players, the normal mission players will accept you with open arms no matter your level and are actually very kind to new players, however...... The deep divers are your bog standard "waaaaaa theyre not level 345 waaaaa they dont have 50k hours in the game waaaaa" and just boot you if you arent above a certain level from the over two dozen attempts ive tried.....
Is that the gta san Andreas selector noise lol?
I enjoyed my deep dive, but only for a one time occasion. I'm still a green beard who has a lot of assignments to unlock weapons so at this moment the deep dives don't seem that appealing to me
Can teammates drop in and drop out like in regular game modes? Or are you locked in with the team that you liad in with? What if someone disconnects, can thry rejoin?
Unfortunately no. once the dive starts no one can join until it is done. As for the disconnecting I believe it is the same concept.
@@javarakgamingwell thats pretty crappy..... So a lag spike can screw me out of a mission and its rewards? Sometimes i truly hate devs that make things that way, or whoever is responsible
Will active perk cooldowns also carry over? Such as Instant revive.
they will actually recharge each stage so you can use it once per dive stage.
Real chads do elites with rando beer.
You would have to pay me for that one,
Haz 3 with ranowiser is where I draw the line, for now...
Honestly my biggest issue is i just don't want to feel like im holding others doing them back... Any suggestions on when "your ready" to do them? Other then when you promote. Right mow i waiting till I habe at least all classes promoted once but even then I don't feel like it's enough for some reason even tho i know ots more than enough
Get your upgrades for your equipment, be comfortable with your utility, and you’ll be ready. Heck if you want just do it solo
I’d recommend getting comfortable doing them solo so you know the drill. It requires you to learn how to do all aspects of the mission rather than just “your job”.
Honestly deep dives are easy as hell i started to do them the moment i got my first dwarf promoted and had no issue with basic and elite deep dives
Try doing solo missions on higher difficulty levels to get more comfortable with the intensity that comes with deep dives
Personally, I would recommend just practicing on non deep dive missions first. Play on some maps that have any mutations on them. It's basically just that after all.
I tried deep dive and now I’m in jail for unable to pay child supports. I think the dive was too deep for me, guys 💀
Oof
I do NOT want more of a challenge or of a struggle or I especially do not to have to push my skills to the limit. I want to get more powerful so the game becomes easier, not harder. I want to chill and relax. Hazard level 1 FTW. This video has pretty much convinced me I never want to do a deep dive.
Its realy fun. But feel free to take your time
as gj said, definitely take your time, but try not to dwell on easy ‘relaxing’ difficulties too long. The higher hazard levels and deep dives are worth the panic for the fun. Trust.
I don't find panic fun, sorry. I don't find moments of "GO GO GO!" fun. I REALLY don't find timers fun. There's no joy for me in struggling. To each their own. @@psychoblagger
@@TheSwamper Hm alright then. Your choice.
I appreciate what you're saying, but timers in games give me anxiety, not excited fun.@@psychoblagger
