RAF Benson Battle of Britain day mid 60s

The 8mm cine film gives a flavour of the BoB days in the 60s and 70s before the flying restrictions were imposed. The film shows most of the aircraft in service with the RAF at the time. It opens with the two seat Spitfire G-AIDN in the blue and white scheme and continues with aerobatics with 4 Jet Provost, flypasts withe the from a Hunter, Lightning and Phantom which includes an explosion. The transports include a VC-10 take off, Argosy take off and a Hercules reversing and take off followed by a low level supply drop by parachute.The Vulcan and Lancaster also appear, a must have duo for RAF displays.
