- Hello from my dream destination Norway! I’m in Bergen in Norway on a dream trip that I’m taking my parents on and in this vlog, I’m exploring the vibrant city of Bergen and showing you what the best things to do in Bergen are. We took the funicular ride to Mount Floyen where we did a short hike and saw some stunning views of Bergen, walked around Bryggen, and checked out the fish market. We were flying to Tromso that evening but due to canceled flights and confusion, we had to change our plans along the way.

Bergen looks so cool. And the view from the flight is so serene and beautiful! nice vlog ! With regard to flight misadventures, everyone has their experience of this when flying abroad. In 2010, while flying for my Masters, I missed a connecting flight at Istanbul to Helsinki thanks to late departure from Mumbai. Was rerouted via Cepenhagen. and reached late at night instead of the afternoon.

So close to and within Arctic Circle, and still so green ! A very beautiful country.
If you mean Bergen ....then it is not within the Arctic Circle. With car it would be around 1200 km to drive north to the Arctic Circle ....and from there you can go on for around 580 km before you will come to Tromsø. Norway is as said in the video a long country and is around 2900 km end to end.

Visited Norway few years ago for our TV show and it's where umbrellas are the real local celebrities and weather apps just throw their hands up in surrender. It's like living in a place where every day is a surprise party, and the guest of honor is always rain. But kidding aside, this is absolutely one of the nicest country I visited and hope to explore it more the next time I visited.

It is so nice to see that you are travelling with your parents, usually we have seen you travel alone. I admire the courage of young ladies such as yourself who travel alone, this is something I find difficult. I plan to visit London in May/June 2024 for 2 or 3 weeks, I have no problems with that because I have a friend and a niece living there, even though most of the time I will be moving around alone using the tube and buses I will not feel lonely; I have already gone through the experience in May/June 2023. My problem is that I want to spend about 7-10 days in Italy before landing in London and there I will be totally alone and I am uncomfortable with that, at the same time I am not anymore interested in taking a tour package by a travel agency, I had enough of it. I have to decide one way or the other. I have to learn to come to terms with loneliness. I am sorry I am writing things which have no relevance to your video, I just just felt like sharing my feelings with you and anyone who happens to read this.
