Jerry is actually handsome.
no brother small hands 😂
Not even a Electric Humvee can.. 😂
FYI his name is not Jerry
Jerry the grim reaper of phones
He worked as Agent 47 before so he's well trained I guess
2:54 the phone literally tried to call for help after that
I was thinking the exact same thing!
@@Adisimion3953 that's the best you got..? L
@@josealcala6103 got a better one? ( ͠° ͟ʖ°)
The suspension on the speaker looks impressive. Would like to see how much travel it has when played
Excuse my ignorance but what’s travel in a speaker?
@@Sol-cf9ko i think he means he would like to see the speaker while playing music, to see how much it moves....
@@Sol-cf9ko didnt ask me, but travel is how far back and forth a speaker moves. If you've seen one, think of heavy bass videos which have speakers or speaker like diagrams that pulse with bass. That's travel you're seeing. It's how a speaker makes noise, and also why in extreme cases, they blow.
That speaker almost looks like the type of speaker you'd see on cheaper portable Bluetooth speakers = way bigger, and more solid (in terms of both quality and volume) than a standard built in phone (or tablet, or laptop) speaker.
@@djenslijk132 it's only fun when it moves up and down oh yeas faster oh yeah
2:30 rip head phone users💀
Zack was in my head for a sec, and I wasn't wearing headphones 💀
Would love to see a video about the battery recycling process. I look forward to it!
Fun fact about Opera... it may have been around 'Since the dawn of the internet' but is now merely a Chromium reskin, and is pretty much as close to a Chrome reskin as you can get, just with their additional services added.
If you want a browser that has actually been around 'since the dawn of the internet' and is no longer a (complete) shell of its former self, Firefox is a better option. Actually uses it's own browser engine rather than reinforcing chromium's/chrome's stranglehold on nearly all browsers available.
That's also why Firefox is so slow and unresponsive compared to every other browser. I'll take speed over a misplaced ideal of fighting a "stranglehold" any day.
@@mjc0961 honestly in the real world, there isn't a noticeable difference
@@mjc0961 I don't see any difference, I use Firefox and Edge on both Desktop and Android.
@@mjc0961 that's because google purposefully uses outdated versions of APIs that break compatibility on a lot of their stuff

Hey Zack, when you talked abouth small vibrator motor from times of old flip phones, I got an idea. Wouldn’t it be cool, and nostalgic, to make retro durability test and tear down with some of legendary old phones, like Nokia N95? J
Too new... 5110 or 3110 would be cooler
@@kwikdahl Agreed!
Zack never reads recommendations 😔
Who the hell is Zack?

nice one as always, i do wish to see the tear-down of the galaxy s tab you did a durability test for some while back, it was too sturdy and I am just burning with curiosity on why it stood the test
i remember, that tab even fought back !!
What has happened to Jerryrig? 30% of the video just talking about ad.
Samsung built different!
@@fynkozari9271 I didn't realize what you were complaining about, until I remembered Sponsorblock filters that out for me. That's quite BS tho
@@docvrilliant give this man an award 😂🤣
I remember when the $400 price tag on an iPhone was considered *very* expensive. I think we really lost reasonable pricing when an almost *$300* phone is considered 'cheap'...
Agreed. I only pay about £200 for a phone, usually a 2 year old flagship. Lasts years and does everything
Well yes I agree, but it's also inflation. A phone of the same competitive value has to cost more now rather than 10 years ago, because the raw materials inside of it cost more. I do agree though that some of these phones are getting to be unreasonably pricey.
@@rohitv249 no, it does not cost more in raw materials .
The iPhone BOM was always around $100.
What inflated was the ridiculous thing pricing because it's a freaking fashion accessory.
An $199 phone isn't an unreasonably impossible proposition.
It just means that the cut of the maker is probably at best 10% instead of absurd 90% Apple gets for its trash.
No wonder they're a trillion dollar company.
finally someone
Video starts at 1:44
@Jack Wrath If you have to say that, it means you're crap. All good CZcamsrs are modest.
Love that little *ba dum tsss* when Zack made the front screen door joke!! 😆
Every phone is gangsta until Zack puts his hands on them.
lenny face
Most phones die during the durability test, very few die during the teardown 😅
I hope you're able to find a replacement display so this doesn't become e-waste
I'd bet this video will save at least a couple poor fools like me from making the same mistake. So even if it does then it died for science so that others may live!
i love hearing zacks voice its so realaxing and good to hear at night ly zack

@Jack Wrath The irony is real
Always entertaining and interesting videos. You should consider doing a walk thru meditation guide series or voice over work. Your vocal pattern is absolutely soothing to listen to. I have been checking in on your channel ever since your first Flip teardown.
4:47 he said it desperately waiting for it
When will you do a durability test on the Xiaomi Fold 2?
Tell you what though, besides the tricky means of entry and the one or two sneaky cables, this phone seems really well thought out when it comes the internal layout, once that nut is cracked it would be very easy to fix when needed. Especially that battery.
Yeah exactly
Although I'm worried about the screen. I think you need to replace that every time you gonna fix the battery. If the parts are cheap it's still a pill i would swallow
Wait, I know you. Had to double check. You are Lumanator's friend.
Heat it up enough, try suction cup or something similar, and last but not least: Plastic tools, no razor blade!
Means of entry is tricky, there's resistance and tightess but it won't be any fun without the resistance.
Usually if you're taking a screen off that you value keeping intact, prying up on it with a razor blade before you're cut all the adhesive isn't a step you would do.
02:55 One final attempt, as the phone tries to "call for help" !!!xD
I just love the look of the screen slowly getting venomed as you pull the knife through
Certainly one of the more interesting and unique phones to be tear down. All the features are really practical and nothing fancy about it. Nice 👍🏾
Other than the repairability if this teardown is to be taken as granted
👍🏻
I was always amazed at how you can peel off displays with a construction knife, and the point here is not that you are disassembling the phone for the first time, but that the tool is not intended for this!
i just watched your rugged speaker video (again), and now we are here
That screen-cutting part is my favorite 20ish seconds ever.
I love that when he tried getting in the phone literally tried calling for help before the screen bled out
SAVAGE...:-)

I'd be interested to see a Red Magic 7 teardown. Not just for the fan, but with the transparent back showing some of the highlights of the phone Im also curious to see what additional thermal distribution is in that phone.
Thanks for the video! Very helpful and easy to follow instructions
Jerry 's video makes my day better...
One of these days Jerry will find his name engraved inside these devices
@TwinTurbo Ray It's Zack but for the sake of the Channel. Jerry 🙂
@TwinTurbo Ray 💯
Looking forward to the next Whisper update!
Clicked so fast to check on Zack. Man I love the man 🤝
My biggest anxiety is Jerry accidentally cutting his thumb while opening phones with that knife hold
[Applause] Now that we know what it looks like

When the razor blade was tearing through the phone screen, I was literally like "Goddddamn Jerry" 😂
Awesome job zack
Who else thought it was a Fold 4 teardown or a Flip 4 durability test 🙂
I did 😄
Yeah i hoped he would snap yet another Samsung
The bleeding edge of technology
Is when he removed the screen 🙃
Waiting eagerly for the Electric Hummer video 🤞🏻 need more updates on it
"Just like a little Lego" makes me smile.
I wanna see a teardown of a landline phone.
Pretty impressive phone for the price, large battery, expandable storage, the IR camera and that huge speaker.. not bad at all
2:50 Funny how the phone tried to call for help but was just too late 🤣
That screen came off flawlessly!
What about the dual screened LG, I'm still waiting!!!
That screen removal was so painful to see.
today i found your work like a guy who came for to attend his first monile repairing training class lolll 😂🤣😂🤣
Finally... That's the video I was looking for... not the other one you made.
He did forget to teardown Surface Duo 2 though. Only durability test
0:13 275$
1:54 170$
The price dropped quite fast.
then went back to 270
This was so great, thank you
Ah.... Man...! That crunch sound 😌
hey Zach, I found a new product I think you would like.
it's the new Zenbook 17 fold from ASUS as it is now the newest and biggest folding display on the market and unlike the iPad, this one is made to fold.
would love to see you do a review and durability test on this cool tech.
0:30 correction: Opera used to be a one of the OG browsers. Now it's just another chrome imposter since they moved to chromium (I loved the REAL opera browser, it was so iconic)

That was a very entertaining disassembly process.
The display held itself for quite some time before it got totally destroyed

Opera is still my browser of choice, for all the reasons you mentioned, and it's not ram hungry.
Just keep in mind that opera is a chinese majority owned company. Have you been using the same lighter since the very first durability video or do you consistently get yellow ones for consistency? :D
Jerry: "we will use the front door" it was like "FBI OPEN UP"
Great video, but can we please have some more updates on the Hummer😅
i’ve been watching you for i’m not sure how long… i remember when you upgraded to the note 10+ from i’m not sure what previous phone but this is one of the most violent tear downs i’ve seen! Not including folding ipad pros or ripping open the original Z Fold
I wish I was as fearless as Jerry's thumb when he uses the blade
I'm distracted by the ring lmao. Looks good tho.
Can’t wait to see the guts of an iPhone 14 Pro Plus. I would love to know more about the “vapor cooling chamber”.
Jerry's like the final boss you can't defeat 😎 💪 🤣🤣
Yes please I am very excited to see how battery are recyclabl
I like how "How can I help?" pops up as the phone is being murdered
When you go in a phone from the screen side, shouldn't all the screws be upside down
Or are they some kind of double face screws?

Can you do a teardown of the nothing EAR 1 ?
Should start a new channel for teardowns Zack: "JerryRuinEverything". Love the teardowns more than the durability test videos.

I like thinking that the phone became sentient and was trying to call for help as the screen went dead
Hi, will we ever get an update on the Hummer please?
1:46 The phone Jerry is carrying in the ad section is already broken/torn apart. I can hear the creaking sound
Do a test on an Allview phone, its not that popular but it has some things cool about it.
Hey, can you please do the oppo find x5 pro, I wanna see how the ceramic back will scratch
