  • Let's setup a La Crosse Technology weather station in the pole barn. The La Crosse Technology product is easy to setup. We mount the outdoor sensor and do a short tutorial on how to setup the La Crosse Technology weather station.

    That alarm feature is great if you have livestock and to go check on them if they need cool down in like 100F heat.

    Great video! I've been looking at picking up a weather station. I'd like to have a remote thermometer in the pole barn (to monitor the chickens), one in the woods (to get the real temp outside) and one inside. This looks like a nice, simple to use station. Thanks for sharing Ricky. Very timely for me!

      After it's been running for a few minutes, it will connect remote weather station and update the date and time.

    I wonder how long the batteries will last

      I'm not sure, I don't use the battery option. I just plug it in! :)

      @@RickyVentures Since you unplug it every time you leave do you have to reset the date and time each time?

    • @RickyVentures
      @RickyVentures  Před rokem

      Once you plug it back in it takes a few mins then it updates the time.

      Then I would either keep it plugged in or add batteries.
