I swear War Support and Stability are afterthoughts once you go to war. These mechanics definitely need a rework. 10% war support at that time of 15% stability would lead to a coup instantly lol
Maybe it’s a dumb idea but I’d like it if countries did enter multi faction civil wars if stability got too low and would have mass strikes demonstrations which decrease stability when war support gets too low
I think that the way to gain it is wrong. I feel like party popularity and leadership should have a bigger impact on stability and your casualties and the amount of land you're occupying or have lost should impact war support, because having 5% war support while you're winning a war is weird
@@skrips_ On countries with Generic/Old focus trees that don't give much war support it's bad too, playing South Africa I had to keep letting my war support fall below 50% so I could click War Propaganda to increase base war support, otherwise I couldn't get to the 70/80% breakpoints for conscription and economy laws.
Fun run! One quick tip for you though, Alex: the latest DLC, Arms Against Tyranny, changed how many support companies work. Light tank recon adds extra hard attack to your tank battalions now, but doesn't improve any infantry or standard artillery. If you want to use them to add a touch of armor it's much better to just smack a light tank battalion into the division and use another recon company that's more compatible with infantry instead.

HOI states are the worst, it’s literally impossible for me to do a France run knowing I can’t move the border EXACTLY to the Rhine. There’s no point playing without mods 😔😔😔
