engine cubic inches is 405 which is 6.66 liters. quarter mile time is 9.99. engine horsepower over 800 on red key and premium gas. cruising horsepower 757. will have trans brake and launch control built-in from Factory first car ever.
A few things: The dyno chart in the performance pages clearly shows over 900 hp. Why didn't you mention that? The Charger Hellcat will do 0-60 in 3.5 secs, not 2.9. The Hellcat is not being replaced by the Demon. It's just another toy SRT came up with for fun.
"The hell cat is dead"? For fuk sake stop with the overreaching. Even if the Demon runs high 9's bone stock (which I think it will) the Hellcat, SRT, & SP's will be just fine..and stop focusing on 0-60 times. They are literally the stupidest acceleration test numbers still being used in today's modern performance cars. Just concentrate on the 1/8 mile et, & 1/8 trap speed, the 1/4 mile, & the 1/2 mile numbers..for example on the Demons performance page it has the 1/8 mile trap speed "@125mph" so in all likelihood the 1/4 mile trap speed will be OVER 137mph which should put the Demon into the 9's if the driver can cut a decent 60ft
talk about options. demon, hellcat, gt awd model, srt8, RT model the list just goes one. some of the best models over all on the market and for the power you get out them is insane.
I wouldn't buy it if it only has a little more horsepower than the hellcat, like all this hype just to be like 50 HP more than the hellcat? I call bullshit, probably has different settings for 700, 800, 900, maybe even 1000. I guess we gotta wait for it to be revealed.
Joaquin Rodriguez if the demon has 50+ hp more than the hellcat, plus weight reduction and awd, there will be some serious gains. biggest complaint about the hellcat is lack of awd, and how heavy it is. I think Dodge was listening.
I'd be surprised if it didn't have 666 hp.... That would be appropriate. With a 250-275 lb weight loss, and some 3.91 rear gears, that would be enough to run low 11's at 126-127 on drag radial tires from factory. The current Chally HC can't get below 12 sec at 121 on factory tires.
I agree with your assumptions. I do however now support ( I didn't until now) the 4WD theory as it's a better a differentiation move and dovetails with future models. I recently drag raced a friends Nissan GTR and was floored by the amazingly consistent 11.30 times on a 4,500 lb. car. It was AWD with a lot of power and heavy...what other car fits that description? A little more HP on a Hellcat will not make the needed separation from a branding standpoint. I like your E85 fuel option theory! I run a pro-street blown 1971 Dodge Demon and E85 amounts to dirt cheap race gas. Plus the fuel cools intake temps. to the point of being too cold. Good problem on a supercharged application. Good problem!
it will likely not have awd as dodge will not put the money into research and development to create a transmission that can handle that amount of power
the car makes an insane amount of horsepower. The drag coefficient is not bad at all and is actually pretty aerodynamic with all the air extractors the car has. and finally if you have not read any news you would have failed to realize that the car is over 200lbs lighter than the hellcat.
AutoFang insane power is insane wheelspin, aerodynamic compared to what? It's a block. 200lbs lighter which is why it's faster than the hellcat, I think with all those variables it's a very decent 0-60 time
Who cares about aerodynamics off of the line. The Demon has AWD to help it off the line and in acceleration times. The weight issue is still there, I agree but it's a true muscle car.
Thanks for the support guys please if you don't mind subscribing it would definitely help me produce more quality content
I think the Demon will be limited production and they will keep selling the Hellcat not replace it.
I agree, Concepts. This car will be very limited. It's pretty much a track only vehicle to begin with.
current hellcat already make 750hp (707 is underrated). I think it make more sense to assume torque will be 757.

Are you kidding?...... This is unbelievable ! Are car that comes from the factory wit street radial racing slicks? Oh, man :)
You also missed a part where it shows the dyno sheet it just flashes really fast but if you can pause it fast enough it's just over 750hp

It will run in top form 9.5 at 150+ mph. 900+ HP and 757 TQ.

the dodge demon will have HP settings at 757, 815, and 940.
I saw it do a 9.87 in the 1/4.
3.9 gear ratio. stopping distance from 100 to 0 221 feet. which puts it around zero to hundred and back to zero in about 6.9 seconds

why would you even think they would put a awd drivetrain in the demon -.-
also its producing 200 more crank hp than hellcat
All of a sudden they release an AWD Challenger right before the release of the Demom. Just looks a bit to convenient.
Joaquin Rodriguez I think you are onto the real specs, Joaquin.
800 HP and 757 at the wheels.
They're probably only gonna make 757 of these, thats my opinion.
Oscar Perez Shit😳
Another screenshot showed around 760hp at the wheels, so I am guessing that 757 is the whp rating.
890 crank hp and 757 wheel horsepower is what it will be making
Pause at 3:15 and the dyno charts stops at about 757 and the time is 7:57
The car will put down 900 HP , mark my words
SJC Cobra you are correct, more or less

I read that the demon had 900+ hp:/
my guest well be about 50 more hp than the hellcat hopefully a little lighter so 740 to 757 up price range 80k
its making 757 hp to the wheels which is 900 crank hp
somebody says oh 666 hp would be cool really?? the day and age we live in it wont be so cool when there is whailing and nashing of teeth forever. wow
5:42 seconds clearly shows 315 tire size... Not 815. Think you're looking at photoshop pics man lol
thanks for the feedback will defiantly take note and do some more research for upcoming videos.
Brandon Gendron, go to the wallpaper download area on the Dodge website to see the image that reads 815.
Boosted Scat Pack ya its on dodges website
it's not worth it tho one seat? fuck tht

Okay after seeing the last teaser video it appears to not be an AWD car. I retract that last guess.
Doug Kessler gtr has a curbweight of 3850lbs
0 chance of it being awd
Stock hellcat is 2.9 seconds with drag radials ?? Dude please what are you talking about
salam gorou multiple sources say it is possible. Do some research 2.9-3.1 second on a prepped track with ideal conditions.
AutoFang bro there is no way man. Idk where you got that info from
salam gorou no it's true, my sisters cousins boyfriends dads uncle has a hellcat with drag radials and does 2.8 seconds
salam gorou yeah man its true!
mine does 2.5 secs from 0-60
If you say the hellcat is dead, does that mean my 2010 RT is dead?
it hasn't been superseded so no lol
How can he say a 3 second 0-60 is high for an extremely heavy non aerodynamic rear wheel drive bus

AutoFang aerodynamics are Porsche Lamborghini Ferrari mclaren pagani koenigsegg

Joe Smerksky i was defending it saying it has impressive times for what it is
this will be a fail if it's only 50 more horses
It's crazy to think that this will be one of the fastest car on the road
The new Trans Am edition has 840hp
