if true, over 900hp from the factory........dodge is definitely not playing around
imserious2187 the fireball camaro has 900hp+ so .. maybe dodge is going to match them?
Alright hear me out guys. The license plate says 2576 x 35. If you multiply that you get 90,160.... The demon will have 90,160 hp. And the crate is a new engine because as soon as you crank it your engine grenades!
NO!. those number mean the amount of cars that will be produced. i work at dodge. and know the information.
850 HP 757=pound feet of torch
license plate is the amount of people who will have a plate on there demon.
so to see the number you need to multiply those number.
2576@35= 90,161 cars will be produced.
2576/35=$73,600 car will cost..
0-60 in 3 seconds
My neighbors cousin works at the milford proving grounds. He found out the demon will have 4000 horsepower and 7000 torque. 0-60 in 2 seconds faster than 0.
They have different makes and models at milford . They compare the competition . I live in highland, each day in the am it's all manufacturer plated cars headed out there,
Maybe it's 757 hp with the black key and 900 hp with the red key.
757 pound feet of torch, car will produce around 912 HP, and will smoke any super car out there. i need a beer and a bitch to fuck, YEAH DODGE!!
Demon = 2576 cfm @ 35lbs of boost
Hellcat = 704 cfm @ 9.565 lbs of boost
If you calculate what we know from the hellcat and plug in the new psi of 35 then we magically get the number 2576.
704cfm/9.565lbs=73.6 (73.6 cfm / 1lb of boost on hellcat)
73.6x35=2576cfm
So 2576 cfm @ 35lbs of boost for the Demon
The math checks out perfectly
Its going to make 999 hp. 666 upside-down
So basically if you are a church going christian: you can't buy this car?
999 HP 666 Upside Down =
Demon💯👌👊💥
Thanks for the shoutout bro. I hadn't even seen those dyno specs til watching this vid! And fyi, I'm no troll. I do work for them and that was info I shared from someone who works in the Brampton assembly plant where the Demon will be and is being made. More than anything, I'm just a big fan of this beast of a car. Love the weekly teasers. Can't wait to buy one. And glad Chrysler released that dyno pic to prove what I said was legit!
757 is how many will be produced
it is not an on the assembly line car like the hellcat. It will only be made when ordered from a dealer ship by a customer. The only reason I know is cause I live in Brampton, Ontario where the Charger, challenger and 300's are made and have many friends that work in the dodge factory this is just what I've been told
I'm if Dodge wants to destroy the comp, make the Demon AWD and up the hp by at least 60 whp. If they do that game fucking over.....
BigC awd is lame. Why should they make it all wheel drive? The fastest 60 ft and quarter mile times on the planet all come from rear wheel drive cars. Awd would just add weight to an already too heavy car
If you type it in correctly the license plate numbers are coordinates, take the coordinates on google maps and you will zoom down to someone holding a sign with all your questions answered.
Just show's that no one know's what coordinates look like anymore, this isn't even funny
alexander77713 but that's only half of the coordinates if those were coordinates....?
*Special announcement, Dodge invited me to New York City! Check out my latest video: czcams.com/video/XM5wlYVJcE0/video.html
I love how all you haters just keep on hating, just cause you can't afford it don't mean you need to hate, if you didn't like the car or the brand then why are you following the news on it. if it is truley a piece of shit then why is the rest of the auto world trying to keep up with Dodge? I don't see anyone jumping ahead of them. Suckers! lol.
Keep up with who?
Hey when Ford made a 500hp GT500 in 07 where was dodge?
When Ford made a 540hp Gt500 in 2010 where was dodge?
When Chevy made a 580hp ZL1 in 2012 where was dodge?
When Ford made a 662hp Gt500 in 2013 where was dodge?
What's funny is that the HELLCAT was released in 2015... BOTH FORD and GM knew that was on the market... What do they release AFTERWARDS? Oh a 500ish HP N/A car and a 650hp supercharged car... Face it... Neither GM or Ford Respect you guys.. Neither company wasted their time responding to the hellcat.....
I like the cat for some reasons, but don't get the facts twisted now...
Texarmageddon srt8 charger, srt8 challenger, and srt8Magnum ? Oh and the srt jeep , ram......
Reno Diaz you're fanboying a little. Yeah dodge is making some awesome cars but don't pretend like every other car maker isn't. Hell, even Kia is stepping up their game with the Stinger GT.
Jonathan M None of those cars made anywhere near the power of any of the cars I listed in the respective years given.. try again
This new era of muscle cars is amazing
Wow you do a great job with your vids... Most car-oriented channels' videos are filled with waste; not yours. Nice work, keep it up!
Great video Kyle.
Sorry Dodge...But I've personally watched friends experience the absolute worst customer service imaginable as far as warranty coverage is concerned regarding the Hellcat...and you want how much for this new thing?! (Slow Clap)
I own several dodges and most of them near the 200,000 mile mark, warranties are for pussies. If I owned a chevy or ford then I'd need a warranty.
NO NO Its bad man...Threads are popping up all over about warranty issues with the sports car class. I keep hearing about it at car meets. nightmare stories.
Why would you need a warrany for a 99 Durango transmission? Why not put the right ATF 4 fluid in and make sure the check ball valve is working properly on cooling line. Idiots online act like chevys 700R4 and Saginaw transmissions were saints, they were some of the biggest pieces of shit that actually had stress cracks & physical integrity problems. Keep a Chrysler trans cooler line unblocked and use the right fluid and you'll never have a problem.
the license plate means =2+5+7+6=23×35=805 hp
mohammad1111111 or it could be 2,576 horsepower. either way in a straight away you could if it has that much power ditch the cops.
mohammad1111111 didn't know 2+5+7+6=23 kinda was thinking =20 but maybe my GED isn't worth the paper it was printed on. safe to assume your prediction is off.. nice try though
its cool to see the demon model based on the challenger but originally it was based off the 70's duster model
I've seen pictures of the new line where they take the Challenger body and cutting out the rear quarter panel to add these beefed up fender flares. The front fenders are done the same and I heard the flares are heavily reinforced laser welded.
I think maybe the #2576@35 means the horsepower output, 2576 divided by 35, is 73.6, so possibly the demon will have 736 horsepower?
Rockerarm system in the video( 6:04) is a Viper style needle bearing Rockerarm with all 8 rockerarms in line with each other , not the same Hemi style Shaft rockerarm system with the intakes at the top of the cyclinder head and the exhaust rockerarms at the bottom of the head, which is used currently in the hellcat.
during frame-by-frame inspection of the teaser released by dodged entitled performance pages. it revealed that its zero to 60 will be in 3 seconds and it will have 757 horsepower however it also showed that the red key was off so it might have up to 900 horsepower with the red key and only 757 with the normal it showed it has a drag mode and a street and mode and performance braking I hope this helps
That crate is the best thing Dodge has ever made! Demon comes with one full of Tools, a first aid kit and 10 gallon gas drum!
Dodge will introduce the Dodge Satan next with over 2,000 whp/tq and weighs 2,000 lbs! It will send you straight to hell!
I worked for IHI Turbo in Illinois last year and I was on the Chrysler line building the supercharger/intake for the hellcats. In may or june of last year we built about a dozen experimental units that had longer rotors in the supercharger (about 19 mm). I'm guessing these were for the Demon.
I love that you don't even mention the roots blower lmao
I literally got goosebumps...
So based on the skinny tire thing, do you think it won't have an AWD option like the current ones?
could the license plate be the curb weight and 35psi boost?
I don't know if you covered this before or just missed it. But on the intake video after the air filter and throttle body it is shown spinning in dual vortex with a whine. That means one thing. SUPERCHARGED! Also if that in dash dyno is correct I would surmise that the steep upslopes of power is the supercharger kicking in. You would have to be pushing some large boost and timing changes to keep all that in tune. just my thoughts.
757 torque? what would be more power?
Will they be a demon charger
If it's a staggered stance from factory then you can't use the fronts on the back. Only with square stance
its basically like a coop camaro or the cobrojet
I think the license plate is the RPM at top of torque curve and 30 is 30 psi boost from the twin screw which i imagine that'll be the charger that they'll use again
Hoping to bring back the Duster and Valient, but that is under the Plymouth nameplate for these compact cars. Plymouth has been going out of automobile business in 2001, but it sure to bring back memories just like Dodge Dart.
did they make that tank any lighter??
Dodge put the # 1121 in the VIN #. Ford put the # 1121.8 in the mileage section on the dash readout in their mustang ads. Could these # represent foot pounds of torque? I`m thinking we may see 900 hp in both.
what if.... its a 2 liter supercharger, on a 576 block, at 35 degree timing?
Rumor says it will be AWD. Though have tiny tires up front would defeat the purpose. What is your thoughts? AWD or RWD? The burnout looked like there more than just two tire marks left on the burnout.
yeah the crate probably sits where the passenger seat goes when you remove it
Looks like it's going to have one "Hell" of a supercharger.
is the Demon like a COPO or Cobrajet? or is it more of a modded Hellcat?
Well Dodge confirmed the drag tires this morning, the tires actually fold on launch like a drag tire would so it can't be anything else unless it's just really deflated for some reason XD
i thought the 2576 was the size of the supercharger 2576CCs is about 2.4 liters at 35 psi which equates to about 20 psi manifold pressure.
I work for Chrysler and everybody is already getting training for the SRT Demon and it still has the exact same HP and Torque. It's a hellcat with after market parts basically. Just like the Daytona is a regular RT with after market parts.
Hey I think it's a date 2/5/76 and how old someone or something is
The demon ad came on before the video started lol
plate is reference to torque at 3.500 rpm ??? minus the 2
The 757 is how many there gonna build.
Because of the @ sign I was guessing maybe torque @ 3500 RPM? Or 35 as 3/5 a date when you could get one. Also the #2 for 2nd run of demon when it ended in 76? We need weird Al!
I legit saw one fly past my farm the other day. It had a demon decal on the back. And it was hude
2576 could be the monthly payment for 35 months. Or it could be the displacement of the blower 2576cc @ 35psi boost.
I think it may have 939 hp due to the serial saying 757 and vin saying 1121 so I'm assuming you add them both and divide by two which sounds pretty legit if it's truee that it pushes over 900
Any one else figured out that there is probably gonna be another car in the Challenger performance lineup with the hell cat and the demon? Think about it, most things are done in trilogies not simple sequels, as well as the names: The Hellcat is the servant of the Demons which reside in the underworld, thusly why we have the Hellcat and the Demon, but what people forget is that a Demon is just a servant of the Devil, in the same way the Hellcat serves the Demon. Honestly I'm expected a car to be announced in a few years time called the Dodge Devil and it will most definitely be heaps more insane than the Hellcat or Demon could ever imagine being!
Ol'skool muscle is coming back!!! Yay!!
How to fix a seat belt recoler on a 2000 Nissan Maxima
Does that mean that the demon is only good in a strait line? It seems that dodge has built the car around drag racing
I think it's the horse power and boost. 2576@35 divided by 2 is 1288hp at 17.5 pounds of boost.
Holly shit, they're gonna remake THE WRAITH. I'm so excited! !!!
The love fence plate means the hemi pro stock cylinder heads that are $2576.35 on the molar website
the 757 may mean how many there will be??
I cant wait for this car
everyone is forgetting Challengers are MUSCLE cars not danty little fairies that dance around the track. I have a SRT8 and its pretty fun to drive rides pretty smooth too.
the license plate means horse power to wheels all wheel drive based on the # tag stumble just don't over think it. more air ECU controller is upgraded for fuel mixture to put out more power based on outside air intake with a tight seal on hood to air filter....
Diabolicamente PERFEITO!!
damn I used to run 315 NT555R's on my terminator and now there coming stock on cars now. how things have changed. crazy!! I had to roll my fenders to fit those things. I know they run 355s on vipers but for a pony car that's impressive!!
the 2576 could be the wheelbase in mm but that would be sort of short a whole 15 inches shorter than the Challenger.
I'm thinking the license plate is 2.5 liter supercharger, producing 760 ft lbs. torque at 3500 rpm.
the plate means 576ftlbs of torque@ 3500 rpm. ( #2576@35)
lol.. got a demon teaser trailer before this video. Who else?
GREAT !
757 is not pointing at the horsepower
It could either be torque or the chasis and number most likely
What's the point of all that power if you can't use all of that power effectively?
I firmly believe that the 2576 is the CC's of the supercharger. the hellcat is 2.3 liter and this would come out to almost 2.6 liters. just my opinion
Saw a guy comment this on an article: "2576cc Supercharger @ 35 inches mercury gauge pressure"
I think the plate might stand for 2x 576 hp @ 3500 rpm. Wishful thinking and hoping.
Is this car AWD? if so, nothing will touch it.
I believe that number plate in first video might be torque ratio? Or Somethin
I think the crate is just part of the commercial. I don't think you get a guy with a wrench and impact wrench too.
informant from ROUSH in MI said they tested hellcat motors stating they had to make a minimum of 675 hp or they got sent back they received the contract to make sure the demon motor produces a minimum of 800hp or they get sent back. 800+ is what we are looking at I do believe.
My guess is the serial number represents hp to the wheels 757 and in the picture of the console is based on hp at the crank 924 to be exact. So 924 at the crank and 757 at the wheels
757 could stand for how many there gonna release for now
#2576@35 = the new supercharger displacement 2576 or 2.6L and the manifold pressure of 35psi or about 20 lbs of boost. Slightly larger blower with a few more psi than a Hellhippo.
yep
so it's basically wideboy, more powerful hellcat?
#2576 is how many will be made per year. @35 is how many people per car that will line up to buy one...
I think that at 2:00 where the tag is shown it is a clue about torque, because the #( number sign) is also the sign for pound. I obviously don't think the demon will make 2,576 ft lb of torque. I think the 2576 is representative of a high torque number and I think the @ 35 means that the demon will reach max torque at 3500 rpm.
At 2576rpm it will be putting 35% more power to the ground then the Hellcat. Is what i think the licence plate means.
This makes me so happy to be a dodge owner (scatpack)
It means it will have 35 horse power and will weigh 2576 kilos (over 5000 pounds)
Damn i want one...
look at the Vin instead, on the box placard, 1120.
If you multiply 2576•35= 90,160 that's the price of the car. But then if u divide 2576/35= 73.6 and they showed u on the battery that the HP is 757. So if u divide 757/73.6=10.3 and that's the 1/4 mile time.
U think this is right ??
Samuel Boyd maa@aaan im speechless
The viper engines are v10 so u really can't replace or compare the two.
No shot. It won't sell if it only has 50 more hp
Samuel Boyd
I heard 50hp+ too , I'm still keeping my cat no matter if demon makes 1000 hp
