- Here's a tune I whipped up to demo some tones from this little beast. I'm running the amp into a Two Notes Torpedo Captor, then into Logic X and the ML Sound lab Mikko cab sim. I'm playing a Les Paul Traditional with 57' Classics for the rhythm tracks and a Shawbucker loaded Strat for solos. Light mastering, Hi pass on the guitars (123kish) and just a little verb and delay on the solo tracks. Crank it up!

Jesus F forget the amp listen to those fingers!!?!! Unbelievably smooth and tasteful. The guy is super human.
that lick around 1.45 is coolio...lol...great playing sheesh.....
Look what Strats are still capable of!! Still my go to 🤙
This is how one goes about playing guitar...and many moins ago I was in one of Jeffs classes at GIT and he was extremely cool and humble and fun to learn from. The composition here shows the knowledge and solo lines are not gratuitous or meant to say “see, look what I can do” as they are with 98% of all other guitarists...
Absolutely beautiful. I love this amp.
Great dynamics, very tasteful and melodic licks! Great bends, vibratos, and zipping all over the fretboard. Tone was fantastic, as was the backing track.
Currently my favorite 3534 demo. As others have observed, the composition and playing are phenomenal! Just stellar. And a really excellent job of showing the real range of what the amp can do. I'm really struggling right now, as I have a Bogner Shiva that I love, but I'm GASsing hard for a 3534. This video both helps and doesn't help, lol! :)
Christopher Wilkerson really appreciate that mate! I’ve owned the Shiva, Shiva 20th, Goldfinger SL and this one is my favorite for sure although those are all great amps. Since I recorded this I’ve spent more time exploring sounds and I like it more and more. I’ve only gigged once with it and can’t wait to get back out and open it up. Super fun amp to play. I would also suggest checking a Facebook vid I did of me checking the amp out in my garage. Link in description... cheers!
Jeffery Marshall I just watched that one, too, man! Fantastic sounds. GAS on! 😬
Wow, a Marshall playing a Bogner, …nice!
😝
You sound more like Jeffrey Bogner than Jeffrey Marshall to me! ;-) Great tone and playing! Thanks for the demo. I love my 3534
Ha thanx! I do indeed have a handful of Marshall’s but I really love this amp too!
Great!
🙏
Amazing playing! I really love the amp as well!
Nice tune! Great tone! Wonderful solo!
WOW! That was AMAZING! Loved the playing man! Amp sounds great too! :)
Ian MacNeil mucho gracious!
Wow...great tune, playing, demo, everything! I'm not worthy!
🙏
Dude. I didn’t want to have to buy this amp….but now…thanks to you and your demo….FML. LOL. Well done :D
:-)
What a great song. Excellent playing also. Thanks for the demo
Appreciate that mate! 🍻
Outstanding playing! 🤘🤘😎
Thank you!
Pure glass 🤙
Nice work Jeff! Both the AMP and YOU are fantastic...
Def appreciate that!
Jeffery Marshall I currently have a Bogner Shiva 20th Anniversary KT88 with Reverb that I love. But I am thinking of selling it to get one of these because of the lighter weight and 35 watts is plenty for me. What do you think about that? Would this be a good move? My current band tries to keep stage level down enough to play well with drums acoustically. Then we Mike everything for the mains and monitors (IEMs).
I’ve had a few Shiva’s over the years and they are great. I never thought the Ecstasy would be for me but I like this a little better than the Shiva. Of course it doesn’t have quite the headroom as a more powerful amp, but in these days of lunchbox style heads, this one is amazing!
Jeffery Marshall what are your thoughts on cabinets for the Shiva and the 3534?
@@musicman78626 sorry just seeing this. I have had a a Bogner OS 2x12 for years. Love that cab! Has a big sound but easier to lug a around than a 4x12. It has V30’s in it and rips with this amp!
Nice playing, Jeff.
🙏
Great sound and nice liquid playstyle.
Thanx!
Nice playing and lovely tones out of this smaller Bogner XTC. Hope they come out with a smaller version of the Uberschall for us home bedroom players.
That was Rock solid Jeffery 🤘🤘
got this amp coming...can't wait...great playing and demo bro
Awesome! Congrats! Let me know your thoughts.
@@JefferyJMarshall my thoughts are its fantastic....the clean needs reverb though....its dry without it....the delays work well on the blue and red channel...I have the gain 12noon blue and 9 on red...tons of gain...the layout makes sense, nice and light...not much to not like ...I will keep it...dunno bout my Shiva now..its heavy over watted...but sounds great as well...dilemma??? lol
@@montyderhak8371 Right on! I can't wait to get out and play with this sucker more! Im sure you're chomping at the bit. Ya a little effects never hurt. I bought this Clean Drive from Honey Bee amps, that on the clean channel is instant SRV! Killin!
@@JefferyJMarshall Now I may have to sell or re-home the Shiva....do you miss any of your other Bogners???? This Ecstasy really takes the cake. I have a reverb pedal coming sat so I am set up with it, still have the OS Shiva cab sounds great with the Ecstasy...thanks man maybe some day we can do lessons in LA
@@montyderhak8371 I regret selling any amp LOL! Super cool. I think these are perfect match with the OS 2x12.. are you in LA?
Cool!
Sounds Killer Jeff!
You sound great as always! Loved the outside lines!
Thanx mate, really just winging it as usual lol
really nice composition and execution
Fantastic :)
Nicely done!!!
Nice track...😎👍🎸
Thanx!
Here's the deal....I suspect he could play through a transistor radio and make it sound great. That said, this sounds amazing.
Fantastic, best demo of this amp I've heard so far. I'd love to hear you do some Les Paul lead tones using this thing. I play a lot of Black Crowes covers, and I'm looking for that really fat LP bridge lead tone like the solo from Hard to Handle. Wondering if this amp would be a good choice.
Hey thanx a lot mate! There is a link in the description to a video I did playing it in my garage. I play both a Strat and a Les Paul. Maybe that will give you some insight! Cheers!
Great man! \m/
Thanx mate!
Love the modulations! Heard lots of Ionian, Aeolian! Lydian too??
George Patmas Hey George, ya a little here and there. Just threw something together... wanted to create different sections for different tones of the amp. It will do a lot more!
Wow! Like a Mark Knopfler with a pick and steroids! Awesome!
Sounds fantastic! Well represented. Any metal to be had here?
Hey Thanx! I don't really play metal, more classic/hard/blues rock. It's great for that but I'm not sure this best for modern metal. Maybe Alice In Chains type stuff...
Tabs plz ! 😅
great stuff!! , this amp is the front runner to replace my JVM but I've yet to hear a demo doing late 70's early 80's 2203 crunch type of chording ala Thin Lizzy. AC/DC, is it in there?
Hey thanx! It will get close to that on the blue channel but it still has the Bogner thing. I have a 1983 2204 all stock and the Bogner it is maybe a little "nicer" for lack of a better term, but has much more gain/tonal options, no pedals needed with the 3534... If you go to my FB artist page, I have a demo of this in my garage and also the 2204 in a diff post. facebook.com/JefferyMarshallMusic/videos/186549075958234/ facebook.com/JefferyMarshallMusic/videos/379623022816864/
I also have a garage vid of a Bogner Helios. Its like a Modded 2203.. facebook.com/JefferyMarshallMusic/videos/577538486394051/
@@JefferyJMarshall watching now , I love your playing style LOL! .. back on focus does the boost just boost gain or does it boost volume as well? Really liking the lead tone (single note "fatness") this amp has
kmanick it is more of a gain boost with a slight volume boost. It def fattens up the note! I use a clean boost in the fx loop for larger volume bumps like solos and such.
kmanick thanx for the props btw! 🙏
Question - seems this vid (and the Facebook vid) was about 6 mos ago. Have to admit I haven’t dug through your facebook page yet to find out, but how did those gigs work out with this little beast? Still using it? Is it a keeper? Curious minds and all that...
It is indeed a little beast. Im in love with it! Unfortunately the Covid lockdown has crushed the music industry (as you are well aware of) and I actually haven't gigged with it since but it really shined. I've been using it for recording and such and always gert complimented on my tone!
Jeff, I still love this man... So, I ordered one today... Question is - what reverb to use with it in live situations?
Hey Brent, sorry just seeing this. I don’t use a lot of reverb just a little spring from a Zoom Multistomp pedal for the most part.
@@JefferyJMarshall thanks Jeff - I finally got my 3534 and love it... Although I think Bogner should have called the "boost" a "MODE"
Brent Sumner ya it’s not really much of a volume boost, more of a gain boost. I use a Boss eq pedal in the fx loop to get a nice volume boost. Xotic RC booster is good for that too
Brent Sumner btw the more I play this amp, the more I like it. I think they hit it out of the park with this one. Can’t wait to get it out on some more live gigs in hopefully the near future
Jeffery Marshall yep, I agree. Thanks for the tips on Volume boost. Thanks for being responsive with my questions. I am enjoying the amp very much and channel 3 is what I have been using for solos and it’s great but an eq pedal would do the trick for any channel... good to know . Thanks brother, stay healthy.
do you feel this amp has enough power for large venues?
John Doheny hmm that’s a tough question. Depends on how loud your band is. If you are used to 100w amps maybe not. But it def has some power. To me this is a great recording amp and nice mid size.
Btw I’ve only played it on a couple gigs and the master volumes were around 1 o’clock and it was plenty loud... hope that helps.
Does it takes pedals well in green channel?
Dukey it does. It’s just like having two rigs. One pedal platform rig, and one amp gain rig! Pretty sick
@@JefferyJMarshall what cab were you playing through on this vid or was it cab sim/IR?
@@jeffmsnipes It was an IR. I was trying out the MIKKO sound lab plugin which is pretty groovy. Usually I use the Two Note IR loader plug in...
@@JefferyJMarshall thanks. Really loved your playing on this clip. I’m looking to move from a dr z set up to a work horse amp. Your video and answers to the questions have pretty much solidified the decision for me.
@@jeffmsnipes Right on! I really dig this amp!
Great demo! Will this amp pull off 80s hard rock without pedal boost or do I need a something like a Marshall JVM EVH etc.? I play stuff like ZZ Top up to Dokken. Thanks
Chasingtone easily! The blue channel with the boost on or the Red channel can easily get you there.
@@JefferyJMarshall Thanks! Is this amp a bright or warm before I buy?
@@chasingtone5748 it’s pretty versatile. It can be dialed into just about anything you want. To my ear it’s a bit dark and but has a number of bright switch options that can get it really sizzlin if that’s what you’re looking for.
@@JefferyJMarshall outstanding and thanks.
@@JefferyJMarshall I just ordered this Head! Looking forward.
