It will fit two 120mm fans in the bottom with or without a 240mm Liquid Cooling Radiator. It will accept CPU Heat sinks up to 165mm in height. The dimensions of the INWIN D-Frame MINI chassis are (HxWxD) 405 x 230 x 501mm (16” x 9” x 19.7”). Net Weight 5.25 kg. Gross Weight 7.22 kg.
In-Win is maintaining its recent predilection for open-air case designs with the new D-Frame Mini, which is a Mini-ITX case (correction: frame) with tempered glass side panels.
The D-Frame Mini was built using a number of aluminum pipes that are bent and welded together to create a frame. Inside this frame is the main tray, which can hold the Mini-ITX motherboard along with three 3.5" hard drives and two 2.5" drives. You'll be able to mount a standard ATX PSU, along with a graphics card up to 340 mm long and a CPU cooler up to 166 mm tall. Of course, you can also choose to use water cooling, for which you'll be able to mount a single 240 mm radiator at the bottom of the frame.
The side panels of the case are made of 3 mm-thick tempered glass, which you can secure to the frame with four metal bolts. Along the top of the frame, In-Win welded an S-shaped pipe with a debossed pattern for extra grip when you're using it as a carrying handle. In-Win anodized the entire frame in black, and it comes with red clips to prevent scratching the frame. You'll also be able to get the case in other color options, including orange and red.
Two USB 3.0 ports and the standard pair of HD audio jacks handle front I/O connectivity.
In-Win claims that this case is perfect for LAN party-goers, and it's hard to disagree on that point; it's reasonably compact, can house a fully-fledged Mini-ITX system and looks tough as a rock.

InWin D-Frame was a very special case, which most you could see at big it shows (DreamHack for instance) in the stands of big manufacturers who wanted to show their special systems to the public. Well, it seems that the D-Frame was quite a success, and it would also seem that the mini ITX fever got to the designers from InWin, so they did a logical move at Computex - the introduced the InWin D-Frame Mini.
InWin D-Frame Mini is a slick looking case designed for high-end mini ITX systems. You can fit in a serious VGA card, you have enough room for a high-end PSU and you can also mount a liquid cooling system for your CPU. I think the LanParty / fashion PC aficionados will definitely be interested in such a different case that can put their mini ITX rigs into a nice, exotic light, for 330 EUR.
Of course, InWin’s S-Frame was also present at Computex and I must say it is a very interesting sight to see with your own eyes. The one-piece aluminium behemoth is interesting both from a manufacturing process point of view (one piece folded 15 times ) and also from a design point of view. However, I am almost sure that the final price tag (750 Euro) will probably scare away most of the regular folks. After all, it is a high-end case for a high-end PC.
And on that note, I must say that the Direwolf case is definitely interesting for most of the users, because for a reasonable price-tag (~70 Euro) they will get a cammo themed case with an interesting look and good features (like the 3 x 120mm fans included and also enough 5.25 and 3.5 bays - 3 & 5 ).

As a former truck driver, I loved driving in upper Wisconsin and Minnesota and loved getting by the Mall o' America. The food was great and Cinnebon was diabetic shock inducing. Being 900 miles from my home, I got by there enough for some of the people working there to know me by name, epic and amazing. Even in winter, they knew how to make the roads passable. Chicago, Illinois and North Dakota was the price to pay for the greatness that was MN and WI. "Edit": Good vid also!! :-)

I bought my son Tinker Toys so he could have what I had growing up. He was born in 2000. Some of the parts (mostly connectors) were plastic but the sticks were wood.

Idk if it's just me, but I've always had much better experiences with Micro-ATX rather than Mini-ITX.

the only thing that concerns me about this design is the lack of case pressure due to the open nature of everything.....i would prolly ditch the glass as well as it's bound to get dusty regardless of anything being there

Nothing about this case says 350 dollars to me...

It looks like someone left some glue and a motherboard tray next to a small step ladder.
I guess someone out is looking for this, but it lacks the convenience of a test rig or LAN box.

couldn't you add a micro atx board just by drilling the extra standoff holes? the shelves and graphic card mount appear to be removable with tons of space in there...

I'll have to take a look when I do the article review. It certainly looks possible. Especially since there's no I/O shield (and as you say, GPU bracket and HDD brackets removable). Would be something to try

***** What about an ATX motherboard? Seems to be a lot of room for that as well

Just saying, the welding job doesn't really have anything to do with "attention to detail" it's just proper welding.

Must admit InWin really think outside the box in many of their case designs but they're not always successful in the finer details & imho this loses some of finesse of the D-Frame ATX case which looks better built & designed (czcams.com/video/a1YE96f4_wM/video.html ), plus more flexible as this is welded together as a complete unit. Price-wise you are paying more for style rather than substance!
