- The guys at In Win took the award winning D-Frame concept and shrank it to a LAN-friendly mITX form factor. It still has that rugged aluminum frame and frosted glass. So what did they cut out to make it more portable?

At least if I drop my computer of the roof again I'll be set with that roll cage.
One of the ultimate lanparty cases you can make metal brackets for your monitor(s) and place them on the side when you transport it
I love this case. I think its gonna be the choice for my next rig
I recently got a demo product of this from In-Win and tried it as a personal rig for awhile, i learned as stated, it's a dust monster, but then I tried it as a test bench for three days and already saw an improvement.
Pros: looks badass!
Cons: well you almost cover all the cons, i will add one more, dust collector,
Ps that radiator was dirty lol
i think it would be cool for like a show computer at a business such as a shop or computer store who custom builds people like seeing high end stuff they cant explain.they see it as them being in a good place weirdly enough
Jack, I still have PTSD from your cable management from the last video. With this case you have no choice now but to sort it out.
This is a test bench marketed as a pc case. Its good to see things like this becoming more available, but no one should fool themselves about what this 'case' is actually useful for.
that dirty rad though
Yeah, but, but ... *has it got enough vent holes?*
That is an awesome case. Nice review. Keep up the good work.
As a welder, all I could pay attention to were those sweet looking aluminum welds...but this case ain't for me. Even if it were closed, it's too bulky for ITX
I say no for the test bench thing.. you want a test bench which sits up on top.. with all the other things hidden below that are not going to get pulled out.. but the board will be changed or the cpu will be changed and they are at the top..
I WANT no....I NEED
You need a price of 369€ too? You lucky rich!
looks pretty cool
got a bit hyped up wen i saw the word win lol :P
Love compact design!
just like you said Jack...looks like it works better as a test bench.
Nice name.
Felix ljung I think your name is better...
No. Your name is better.
nahh!! my name is better B|
Why would they not have made the back glass panel opaque so that you can't see your invariably unappealing cable management? (aside from custom single sleeved braided cables, which would probably look kind of cool)
Good review dude
It would be great for a LAN pc setup.
Great Troll video. 2 thumbs up! 10/10
Holly smokes I never knew there were open cases, I feel like technology is speeding up so fast to keep up with everything.
there should be a test bench round up or something
Looks cool - but I'll bet its loud if the gpu or cpu fan spins up
Lols, the attachments for the glass frame are on the outside of the shock absorbers, so any decent jolt will smash the pane, leading to an expensive replacement.
Also, PSU on the outside? Coffee spill disaster waiting to happen, not to mention the cable disasterthat will occur next to it.
Might be good for mounting on the wall. Like a Mini-PC, but something you build (and mount) yourself.
i think this pc case whas ment for decent people dont randome people that eat in there pc chairs instead of the table just put it in a place no idiot will be around it and your fine unless your are one
y do u no put black sata cables??? u are tearing me apart Lisa!
Swap out the Glass for Perspex!
This is sweet!
A mini/micro-ATX capable chassis would have really changed the game, the majority of people using a test bench are testing (surprise surprise) and almost all decent overclocking boards will be mini-ATX and up. It's pretty, but I am dissapointed
Does ball sweat leave marks on the glass when it drys?
I want this.
Dear Santa...
dont think people in need of a test bench would want one that only did mini itx
I love your videos ncix, but the sound of your videos is always a bit weird it sounds almost muffled, I don't have this with your ads, for example the WD ads, or any other video, only yours, I have tested this on my phone, my laptop speakers, my Harman kardon 2. 1 and my beyerdynamic Dt770's it's only your videos that have this, which sux because I love your content. ...
youre right ;)
is the radiator dusty or is the paint is damaged?
it can be a cool LAN case i guess
can be a good traveling desktop cuz of the bumpers and ability of putting it on 6 sides
put it in a traveling bag and ur set
Two sides are glass...
removable glass, and if it's in a luggage bag it should be fine regardless of weather or not you remove the glass.
If anything gets in there, you're screwed.
Looks like the groundation of a factory
That's a lot of money for a wobbly power button.
It's one of the most reliable feeling power buttons out there on any brand case . I've done many .
What is the point of really easily transportable miniITX cases? For LAN parties, you still have to carry your keyboard and mouse and screen and whatnot so that's gonna take a lot of space and a regular case isn't that hard to carry.
Does the "D" stand for dust magnet?
you heard it first guys compressed flour case for all your gaming needs
How do you connect cables to your graphicscard? The powersupply seems to be preventing that
Absolute pain in the ass to connect. I ran them along the lower power supply mount and tied them down for the build I did.
Cool concept. Although I wouldn't buy it. Thanks for the review.
You guys seriously need to fix the echo in your videos, its fucking annoying xD
i find it funny lol cx
Your H100 radiator is rly dirty.
i hear very slight echo in this video guys. Like reverb or something. I'm listening with headphones (audiotechnica ath m50's)
just a heads up for the audio guy!
The In Win D-Frame Mini is definitely no good Test Bench Because its far too expensive and in an normal Test Bench, its much easier too swap the parts than in this case!
The In Win D-Frame Mini is just a really good looking expensive no dust proof case!
My window faces the wall...
Looks ice but too heavy for lan rig, too open to sit by a desk could easly mess it up by accidentally sweeping a screw or paper into it
And as for test bench.... Well there's better ones out there
However all the bad in that if you do get one you will likely be the only one who has it in a 100 mile radius so can be quite a cool rig
Aluminium*
its a good chasis, but, is some expensive, i think, i can use that
for lan parties ? anyone
Well this looks nice for lan party its compact
oops sorry man didnt mean to spill my gatorade and doritos on your pc.
skywarp34100
metal fork , while the system is powered on, would reap havoc.
it weighs a tonne
TDPEquinox
Yea that's probably one of the largets mini-ITX cases i've ever seen.
silly case, want to see more slim itx cases for gaming hardware ( like milo ML07 ) Direct boot in steam big picture and you got your own awesome console
only one word... DUST
£249 for this, should be like £60
why would someone want a itx bench????
can i install it on my motorcycle?
***** haha xD
looks nice, to build an heavy machine inside heavy like the frame.get it ?
hehehe
The chassi is flappy bird safe
What don the reset buttons do on cases?
They restart your PC so you don't have to click twice to do it yourself. :)
Press the one on yours and find out.
TheRatchet35 ah right
C:\ampbell I was going to but i thought somthing might explode
In case you are In a position where your pc is frozen or something is wrong with it that needs a reason to reset it. However it is Recommended to do this through windows if possible
great for a 2. pc
OMG IF YOU COULD FIX THAT BLURRY VIDEOS THAT WOULD BE GREAT
watch at a higher resolution... also if your talking about the B-roll sorry but that's how cameras work and they can't change it.
did you say the price? it´s too much for me
i think that the case look very cool but it´s to expensive 330 € in germany for that budget i can buy an Corsair 900D, Phanteks Enthoo Primo or a Cooler Master Cosmos 2
Giveaway?
10 side ...corner
Now coolin is so good ('_')
Dust, dust everywhere...
well u can allways put a motor bike engine in it. and weld it to a motor bike frame and use it ^^
For all the "dust magnet" comments.... Run a swiffer around your house once in a while.... Sheesh. My old enclosed cases collect 10x the dust that my D-frame collects...
DAT DUST MAN! If you buy such a "case" ... get ready t oclean your pc every 2-4 weeks(deppending on where you live).
at £250 and cant fit my 780 lighting in it i think not
you're wrong!!
dust magnet
inwin says you can not you will
Mr. Some Guy He means in terms being able to put the case on 6 sides. You CAN put it on all 6 sides but you wouldn't on some because...well..obvious reasons.
Matthew Fung then I guess you can put any case on 6 sides also?
runescapefan0001 I don't work for InWin haha, when it comes to a case like this there isn't much to say so I guess they made it a feature.
Hi Ncix guys, sorry for asking here but I need an answer quick because the sale ends tomorrow. How good are the monitors in the ncix deal www.ncix.com/detail/samsung-dual-lcd-bundle-2x-df-102841-1246.htm was thinking of buying cause it looks like a good deal. Opinions on 27" 1080p screens? I currently have 1 20" 1600x900 screen and and an R9 280x I could make all 3 monitors into a kind of ghetto eyefinity setup. thanks
Unfortunately, you can't run Eyefinity with these because they don't have DVI ports.
***** Please know what you're talking about when giving advice. These displays can run eyefinity (3 monitors) via a dvi to hdmi adapter, and mini displayport to hdmi adapter (3 hdmi monitors in eyefinity). I simply use the dvi, hdmi, and mini displayport ports on my gpu.
runescapefan0001 Or I could just use 2 mini displayport to hdmi adapters, but right now I have one of each.
runescapefan0001 Sorry, I was thinking Nvidia Surround had the same requirements. Yes, the adaptors will work.
I can't really recommend the monitors, but that's just my personal experience with 27" 1080p displays. It doesn't seem that bad, but it kind of is when 21.5" is the "recommended" size for 1080p.
Internet tax is coming, 144P videos only...
dust collection city, no thanks
You can blow it once a week with an electric blower. Is that too hard?
That case would be terrible for air cooling. There is no wind tunnel effect that you would normally find in a typical HAF Case. Also, if you accidentally spill liquid near the computer in this case... you are going to smell something that will make you gag, as well as put you $3,000 in the hole after replacement parts. No PC technician worth their salt would recommend this case. Why would you take the time to review this NCIX? Hell, why are you even selling it?
Second. And that is one ugly piece of shit.
so are u xD
als please subscribe to my channel? *tips fedora*
xDD
301+ comment whohahahahaahahahhahaahah
mmmmmmmmmmmmmm i want it looks exotic and i take my pc over to my friends house allot but 300$?
FIRST!!!
FIRST lol
350$ this is bullshit!
not very mini
I thumbs downed the video before I even watched it. InLOSS must learn how to build a chassis and : 1. charge a REASONABLE price. 2. learn to stop wasting usable space. 3.More Color choices!
The D-Frame mini and the original D-Frame is the two most ugly cases i have ever seen
dudes lame. who cares you wouldn't face it downwards, grabbing straws here. Not saying its perfect, however have this as my personal rig and its probably the best part of my whole setup. Only paid $75 open box freak deal and would never go back as of right now. I still sit and stare at my rig for hours sometimes just taking everything in, especially after a night out drinking ; ).
What a rubbish case! Just like a testbench, but not as convenient....pointless!
