Hey Kyle! Happy Holidays! Thanks for all the videos and for all your commitment to the channel. I know this year has been a new, different path in your life with your departure from Newegg, new move and more work on your channel. I just wanted to let you know that you are appreciated and have my support all the way. I hope to see this channel grow to amazing heights in this new year and wish you and your family nothing but the best!
Wow, thank you so much for this. It's validating to hear you (and hopefully others) appreciate all the work put into this channel. I'm confident 2015 will be a great year for the the Network, largely thanks to viewers like you. All the best to you and your family as well!
Awesomesauce Network I cant agree more with him.
Love the video's, I like the style very much, very sharp.
And the Amazing life of a 780Ti is on top of my favorites list.
It's MERRY CHRISTMAS, NOT HAPPY HOLIDAYS YOU UNCULTURED SWINE.
Holy crap you’re so young looking here.
I love the humor. I hope you had a great holiday!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Kyle and Family.
Nice video! I now hold you to the same high standards as other channels now that I've seen lots of your other videos
Didn't think you would pay that much for the D, Kyle.
clearly you don't know me as well as i thought you did, old friend.
love you, lol
If, for some strange reason that I can't imagine at present, I wanted to buy one of these, I would almost certainly look for a second-hand unit. Ideally at 60% of original retail price or less. Otherwise.... as you said there are more cost-friendly options that are just as functional, if not more-so. Thumbs up on the review video though. Top knotch quality!
"I'd love to see some Velcro straps or even some thumb screws, but the case is only $300" You're hilarious :D
In Win always has some unique cases. Have you heard of the new 703 or 707? Could you do a review on them if possible?
It's...so...gorgeous!
I love the D.
Your case videos are top notch. Love the depth! But hate the dubstep at the start. Every video I quick skip it because........ its bad. I wonder if its a inside joke? Love the channel! Do more case stuff this is helpful!
man your metaphors make me go LAWL
What about water cooling loop? Will I be able to fit a mini res/pump combo and keep one or two brackets for my drives?
+fromization1 still IDK if I'll be able to fit my watercooling loop gpu plus cpu with 1 or 2 ssd(hdd). I didnt find examples on google~~
Sup bro. You going to CES next year?
"a cloth to wipe your glass."
LOL
you also forgot the flaw with the I/O, the handle can block it depending on it's loadout
I wonder if you could mod this into a closed case design.
Besides the obvious flaw of it being open air, it looks great.
$300USD would be a bearable price. But in the UK it is between £250-350....
I dont' give a crap HOW cool or unique ANY pc chassis is, if you're paying more than 80 bucks for ANY case ( this is about to be 2015 after all and not the 1990's), thumb screws SHOULD be included even if not screwed in the case itself out-of-the-box.
For almost 3 Benjamin's, there is ABSOLUTELY no excuse for excluding these as cheap as they are.
Actually dust filters would be just as helpful in an open air chassis... That's less dust getting stuck on fan/radiator and caking onto components.
I always run open or clear cases, so the fans are still the most annoying to clean (unless you're using the removable blade fans... still waiting for a removable and reversible fan!)
Max price I would pay? Maybe 200 bucks, the case is after all a unique piece ina limited edition.
Max price I can pay? 4.73 bucks. Yep, I'm pretty broke.
Joke aside, I erally do like your humour. I loled at "you can use this case to remove crowbars", very creative :D
I'm planning on a beastly rig. i5 - 4690K, Corsair Carbide Air 240 White, Corsair CS750M, ASRock Z97M Anniversary, Kingston SSD Now V300 128GB, HyperX Fury DDR3 1600MHz 16GB White 2x8GB 1600MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM ( Kit of 2 ) HyperX Fury White Series PnP, Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, WD Green 2TB, Gigabyte or Asus Radeon R9 290 4GB. Jealous? :P
TheBcoolGuy Where's the rest of it?
TheBcoolGuy
yeah really jealous of that powersupply running coloured cables on the 24pin, and that really 'beastly' kingston SSD now v300, so fast. and that 2TB green drive, so reliable. it's going to look so sleek and your options for audio will be so good with three ports on the back, you can run a 5.1 set up off that! (if you don't mind using front panel audio for mic and headphone).
TheBcoolGuy I'm very jealous ._.
Ssd now and 750 watts from corsair hahahahaha if you like 120 mbps ssd take the ssdnow but in other case do not
This, oil or a Define R5... Choices, choices.
Haha, it was the least likely one to do, it's just a big brag factor to be honest. This is probably a dust magnet, so I'll probably go for the R5.
Yeah IKR.
The new bequiet case is good too...
lol i just won this case at PAX east 2016!!
For a case I couldnt justy more than $125 but if it was really the perfect case maybe a bit over $200. But for over $300 I expect hookers and blow.
$100 max. Its a couple of round tube welded together with two pieces of glass. I can make that case for less than $40.
This case is WAY to tall and deep to be a proper mini itx chassis ( the width isn't an issue as I WELCOME that wide of a pc case for PROPER cpu tower air coolers-cough cryorig r1 ultimate and phanteks phtc14pe-cough)
I'll stick with my *modded* thermaltake core v21 matx chassis that is overall much smaller and fits MORE stuff.
Does the audio sound muffled to anyone else?
just won this case in a giveaway
S-Frame review next? lol
Thermaltake core v1. Enough said. check it.
I have only build one pc I payed over a 100 for my case I think. I wouldn't spend more than 15% of the bugged on a case.
$300 could buy a ITX version of a caselabs case. The million miles of radiator space seems more valuable to me then a glass side panel. How are you going to put a dust filter in that case?
Use it as a table for your keyboard.
Max price I'd pay for a case would be $100. The D-Frame is nice though.
Using dust filters on this wouldn't really be like using a raincoat in the shower, more like wearing a raincoat under all of your other clothes.
Not bad but $300 they have under $50 in material for this case. a lot better cases for $300.
Nice. Now do the S-FRAME >:D
1:23 is , unfortunately, an R&D'S measuring oversight.
How about 0$. Would like to seen a metal shroud covering the back cables.
dont like this ... its blokcing the GPU .. + i dont no how can sone one fit there a 200m radiator ... and maximum price ? 100 ....
I would pay 120 max
my inwin DRone isnt weird or expensive lol
$75
First
56th :P
the D you say?
Sometimes I just want to suck a dick. O.o
I think that this case is cool, but I don't know why anyone would ever buy one.
To me, this thing looks completely pointless and ugly. But it's only 300$, so i guess that's allright.
