- It is known that Superman's adoptive parents, Jonathan and Martha Kent are farmers at Smallville who found him as a toddler when his rocket landed on Earth. Because of that, many characters make fun of him because of his humble background.

A interesting thing about Joker I never really key in on often is his goal isn't really just random destruction and chaos. This is something that Nolan/Heath's Joker really put in the spotlight. His goal is to show how corruptible men can be. Even the best of them. Yes Superman isn't technically a man in the human sense. But Joker still corrupted the one guy many see as the most incorruptible. He died but he did exactly what he wanted to do. Show the world nobody is above losing control. Love that lil nod with Joker acknowledging his win.

Which is kind of ironic, because Ledger's Joker actually failed. The bombs he planted on the boats were not set off by the civilians or the prisoners. Both sides chose to spare the other ones. Injustice Joker made Supes lose control, but Nolan's Joker failed to break either Batman or Gotham's citizens in the end.
@@Xylarxcode Yes, but Joker had a trump card. Gotham's White Knight Harvey Dent. Harvey was corrupted, then Batman killed him, and took the fall so Gotham wouldn't learn of Harvey being corrupted. Then Gotham turned on Batman. Joker, in his own words, was ahead of the game.
@@JeremyCuddles That is true, but his ultimate goal was to show the world (and especially Batman) that ANYONE can be corrupted, which he tried to prove with the boats and it backfired on him. He did manage to corrupt Dent, who stood as a symbol of hope for Gotham that things might get better and that is definitely a heavy blow for the city and a big win for Joker, but the fact that he even needed this trump card shows that he himself knew that his original plan was not foolproof. If he had such unshakeable faith in his boat plan, he wouldn't have needed a back up plan. But he did, because Joker knew there was a chance people would react different from how he expected them to.
The back up plan worked and was devastating to Batman and the city, but the fact that he even needed it means Joker is forced to admit his views on humanity are flawed. They are not broken as easily as he would like to have you believe.

I would suggest that the plot writers doesn't deserve respect after that, not the character to blame. I mean it's not only Shazam murder, it's the whole ending of IGAS. Supes in difficult situation: invasion from other dimension and from Atlantis, he founds out about Luthor's conspiracy against him, as I remember he has also problem with public image. What does he do in such difficult sitaution? So much enemies are after him and he can't be sure who he can trust. He commits terrorism. And kills his comrade for questioning such intentions. Because "lmao, I am pure evil, you don't fear me enough". It's hilariously stupid idea even for a human. But we talk about almost omniscient alien, who has all kind of supervisions, can read at superspeed and had access to knowledge of much more developed civilization of Krypton. You just physically can't be dumb enough in such circumstances.

And that's one of the big things I disagree with about the Joker, all it takes is one bad day for a good man to go bad. I disagree with that it's not the bad day that makes them go bad it's what they do afterwards, they could either pick themselves up and try to be better than they were before or they can stay on-the-ground wallowing in self-loathing until they are forced up by that very self-hatred to inflict it on to the rest of the world.

Most of Wonder Woman's powers are actually blessings from the Greek gods, which are things that she can't turn off. She can concentrate and lessen their effects but they are still in effect. Throw in the fact that she was actually trained in combat by her people compared to Superman who just brute forces his way through it.

The problem with Superman vs Flash races since the dawn of comics, Barry literally outruns death, hell, he beat himself in a race once, like he ran so fast that the universe and physics just collectively noped out of there
Those races were for charity and Flash deliberately ran for a tie.
Not a single character ever believed Superman was wrong but not beyond saving.
