- Despite being a hero, Superman has made many mistakes in the past that made many of his allies quite angry at him. In this video, you can see how Justice League Heroes, such as Batman, Wonder Woman, and The Flash confront Superman's actions in Injustice 2.

Shazam realistically would’ve put up a good fight with Superman. People downplay his powers compared to Superman but he’s got equal strength speed and stamina and magic on his side which Superman is weak too. I was pissed they didn’t have an actual fight and Superman just executed him.

I think it's actually supposed to be a parallel between Superman losing Lois and Starfire losing Nightwing. She's basically telling him that him losing the love of his life doesn't justify his actions because she knows exactly how it feels.

Starfire loved Dick Grayson as true as Superman did for Lois. The relationship is the defining quality. The unborn child is just icing on the cake of the lesson.

Fun fact with the Shazam line: Shazam is completely invulnerable to anything that isn’t magic, after all “the only thing that can harm magic, is magic” so all that Superman’s lazar should have done is give him a light tan. Shazam was supposed to be in his kid form when he got killed, but they decided it was to hardcore to have Superman murder a kid, so they scratched it, that’s why Shazam’s voice sounds lighter in that cutscene

Diologue between an OC alien I made for an original sci-fi story and Superman I decided to drum up. And in the case of Punisher, it would had more sense that the Penance Stare didn't work with him by the fact that all his victims are criminal scum than innocent people, than by be lacking from regret.

Don't blame the character. Blame the writers that don't understand the character they're working with. Mark Waid did the same basic ideas with Superman years before Injustice did, TWICE, and both are leagues better. Once with Superman losing Metropolis, Lois, and his unborn child in an explosion in Kingdom Come, one of the best DC elseworld stories ever (spoiler he doesn't become a piece of shit but chooses instead to spend the rest of his time in the fortress of solitude, until the events of the story, because Waid actually understands and respects the character), as well he also did the idea of an evil "Superman" in the comic Irredeemable, which is about how it takes an entire lifetime of constant abuse and horror to transform a superhero who is naturally as loving and compassionate as Superman into an irredeemable person.
Injustice Superman is what happens when shitty hacks who happened to have the character's likeness because they worked for DC write a story for the explicit purpose of wanking Batman. (The entire initial stated premise of the game was "to finally answer who would win between Batman and Superman").
I give "The Boys" a pass with Homelander cuz that's like a different character, but this is supposed to be THE Superman. And it's such a shitty take that it boggles my fucking mind how they could have possibly fucked it up so bad when they literally work for DC.
