There is some backstory changes that led her to how she is, where she got her more ruthless attitude. For example: Steve Trevor turned out to be an undercover Nazi.
I love how Superman wants to murder everyone and then jokes about pizzas with ninja turtles while his eyes ignite red.

But his real strength doesn't come from that little exchange: time after that little "altercation", Superman visited Alfred to get some information out of him. Alfred was extremely "english rude" on him, as the old man he claimed to be. Superman fried people for much less than that, and still, here we had Alfred, not giving flip of remind Supes the most humiliating defeat on his life XD

Well we don't really know that unless the interaction happens in story. In these cutscenes, they are just making possible interactions two characters would have with each other before a fight so they aren't always canon

They used the lasso of truth on him when he got there and said he was an allied soldier then when they got back to WW home and found him trying to get the door (I forgot why he was sent there). They used the lasso of truth on him again and he fully shown himself as a nazi soldier and WW executed the nazi soldier. So yeah TDLR twists her and her sisters minds about compassion or steel.
