I have a charge 5 and a pill. I agree that the pill sounds very good. Better than the charge 5 under 50% volume. As soon as you go above 50% it is unlistenable. Truly horrible above 50% volume. Also, I have an iPhone 15pro and I’ve had constant connectivity problems with the beats pill. It displays an incorrect battery level that never changes. 58% and the volume buttons on the pill operate independently from the volume on the phone. I cannot believe that Apple shipped the pill in the state that it is in.
I returned the beats and bought a charge 5 . I admit the beats pill sounds great but the JBL is easier to live with. My beats didn’t take a charge. I didn’t like the interface that the Beats has . The on and off and led monitors. The beats is a nice looking product with a great sound. I think it’s better suited for in the home . It looks as though it would show wear and tear faster than the JBL. I does have a refined look. I’ll stick with the JBL.
