Sir, Thank you for showing us how to adjust the high pressure cut out, we would appreciate if you also showed us how to adjust the low-pressure cut in.
I had a problem with my Campbell Hausfeld twin stack. It would build pressure to 115 PSI and keep running without shutting down until I manually flipped the switch. It wouldn't build up to 135 psi. I replaced the check valve and loader valve to no avail. I was happy with 115 psi but it just would not shut off. Someone trying to sell me a new pressure switch for $75.00 until I decided to just cope with it and leave it at that. Until I saw your video. That SOB wanting to sell me that new switch didn't tell me I could dial down the pressure from my existing switch to make it shut off at 110 or 100 psi. Your tip solved my problem, Thank You for posting this.
I phones the main dealers and they told me I needed a new switch. After installing the new switch It still was not turn off So i followed your instructions in the video and it worked.Thank you very much you've been a great help 👍
thanks i spent 2 hours fixing all the leaks from the couplings and regulator and this was the last problem i couldn't figure until i saw this video thanks u saved me lost of time.
20 years ago I got a new 150 psi compressor , I turned it down to 125 psi shut off . it has never run out of air , reset the turn on to 80 psi from 100 , most tools run on 30 to 90 psi , when you buy a new compressor turn down not one air tool needs max psi of 150 or 200 psii and it will last longer . Less run time . I worked in a few shops with 100 gallon tanks and they put out 120 psi for air tools 10 guys working on the line with impact drivers .
Thanks mate, I thought I'd have to have my compressor repaired but I followed your advice and it works perfectly. Thankyou for taking the time to help others.
luisfilipe1983 ok now my compressor started may be 70 or 80 and stop @ 120 psi I can't make the compressors start @ 90 psi ? Is it doable I see you can reduce pressure of stop by turning this screw but can you increase start time without increase stop time which is 120 psi 8 bar in my case
Ok my mistake bought same design but it's 20amp max and 175 psi can I replace mine which is 125 psi max and 16 amp and reduce pressure by turning I think counter clock wise once it reached 125 psi is it ok to use this one mean it's for 175 psi not 125 psi can I adjust that and it'll work fine I bought it from eBay I can't return it
Can you help me figure how to set my air compressor up? Ok here’s the problem I’m having: I have 2 20 gallon air tanks. One has a motor and one doesn’t. One was added for more air capacity. My motor comes on when one is below a certain point (I don’t know what that point is). Can I set it up to where the motor comes on when both are low instead of the one? I’m trying to avoid burning my motor out. Thank you.
30 bar is tank tested upto that pressure ,if unsure look for swp ? ,that's safe working pressure , could be anything upto half ,seldom will it be over half
Hi i got a new pressure switch, The problem is when it get to like say 7bar it will stop pumping air, But it lets out air till it gets to about 4bar then 7bar,It just gets doing it..It just has the 1 screw my tank is a 115bar...
I believe his AC unit has a differential pressure fixed at 2 bar. This means the AC will cut in (or start working) when the pressure reach 5 bar. If he decided to set the cut off at 6 bar for example, then the cut in will be at 4 bar. Can refer info here : theworkshopcompressor.com/learn/air-compressor-parts/air-compressor-pressure-switch/air-compressor-pressure-switch-setting/
My compressor starts working and builds pressure up to 150psi but sometimes during work it will not start and won't keep tank charged. Sometimes it turns on only for a few seconds then goes quiet. Sometimes I hears something that it wants to start like air going somewhere through the pipe for about 2 second and then quiets and stays like that. Fails to keep up pressure in tank when I use it. Pressure goes low as 50psi but compressor doesn't start. Then I had to open drain valve to release remaining air pressure in the tank. Disconnect it from AC power for few minutes and it starts working again build up to 150psi again. I don't hear any air leaks. What could be wrong??
+Albert Yulo keep an eye on it while charging, and once the gauge reaches 8bar unplug it from electrical power so that it stops charging, after that losen the screw slowly until you hear a click as the mecanical switch is activated...like that it will always stop charging at 8bar, and kick in when the pressure goes down to about 5,5 or 6bar...
I don't know maybe using some oil and water filters in the line...this here is just for mechanics and tools not for health treatments...sure they must use something a lot cleaner and pure
a problem the air doiler is not full and the terminologh always shows zero '.. while the machine is working fine it never fills the cauldron ...very little if you have a problem you can heip..thank you..
I am sitting here absolutely dumbfounded by the number scale on that pressure gauge. WTF? 4 segments to 30 PSI!? Why? 7.5 value segments!? Drawing 3 segments would have made an even 10 PSI separation. This is absolutely just blowing my mind. Nevermind that the BAR scale is 2 segments to #1 and 6 to #2. Holy shit, this stupidity is going to ruin my day. I'll be shaking my head "why, why, why", all day long. OK, I need to walk away from this and go take some pills now.

helped me lot straight to the point .....good job
Thanks! It was fast and simple to do. The unplugging at the desired pressure and adjusting did the trick.
You are welcome
Thank you we were having this problem. Will check tomorrow.

upsidedownrainbow haha you mean lots not lost of time
Thanks for the video, just what I needed to diagnose mi compressor.
Thanks it's working right now just left it stop on 8 bar and working on 6 bar just by adjusting the screw
Got a new compressor and it wouldn't shut off. Thanks to you it now does. I set it just under max operating pressure. Thank you very much.
You are welcome
Thanks mate!

Thanks, didn't realise I had to do this too
Amazing, thanks, man you're Awsome
Ahmed 2DAnimations you are welcome
Brilliant. I am in Australia, it is so good to see I had an almost exactly the same unit. Problem fixed in about 10 minutes. Thank you!

Nice video amigo. Thx for sharing
How did you build your tank? Also thank you for the information.
Nice one mate really helped that top man
i have the same pressure switch and ist ok to not connect the strain relief that going to the check valve
That part you pulled the ring pull on to release air, what pressure would that release at if you kept pumping air in?
It's really helpfull..I will try. Thanks.
Thank you!
Thanks For The Info 👍
It Solved Problem.
Keep Up The Work.
I have same switch , Thanks for information
thanks mate great vid going to reset mine now as it wasnt when I bought it
👍
Great video,many thanks.
Can i adjust my pressure switch at 40psi to 60psi cutoff?
Thanks man! U save my life 😬
👍
Thanks for your vidio
Thanks for sharing this, a really simple way to set it.
👍
thanks a lot mate
Great 👍 ok if I have pressure switch same like yours
I want pressure to start compressor @ 70 psi & stop @ 80 psi is that possible ?
+Sroor9001 yes i guess so
luisfilipe1983 ok now my compressor started may be 70 or 80 and stop @ 120 psi I can't make the compressors start @ 90 psi ? Is it doable
I see you can reduce pressure of stop by turning this screw but can you increase start time without increase stop time which is 120 psi 8 bar in my case
Sroor9001 yes u can if you don't have 2 screws for setting then the 1 screw should run 1 bar behind the cut off
This video is awesome thank you
Worked for me, thanks 👍
👍
Thanks a lot, you deserve a candy bar for this. Good boy
Ok my mistake bought same design but it's 20amp max and 175 psi can I replace mine which is 125 psi max and 16 amp and reduce pressure by turning I think counter clock wise once it reached 125 psi is it ok to use this one mean it's for 175 psi not 125 psi can I adjust that and it'll work fine I bought it from eBay I can't return it
+Sroor9001 i think it would work ok, but i am not sure...
luisfilipe1983 I have to check lowest psi I can set on the cover of the switch from inside
Thank you 😊
thanks bro ...it works
Excellent information.
Thetrucky69 thanks
luisfilipe1983. No worries mate. Cheers 👍
Thank you for video brother

Thankyou this was a really helpful video
Nice post thanks 👍
Oh, the excitement of watching your guage...
Yeah, takes for ever. Something is wrong with that machine. Or he has a very big tank?
Please can you tell me how to open the cover?
Can you show how to set it to auto start?
Thank you! Sorted :-)
ours wont shut off , gonna try this at the weeknd, hope it works, will update after test, thank you mate.
Youre a legend
How do u set to restart automatically
Thanks for this video, but how can we adjust with this type of shut off valve, so that it start charging at desired pressure?

What's the capacity of your tank?
Hi dear i want to know the wire sequence of this switch there are three wires blow red i now the green is earth earth
Regards,,,
This one if i am not mistaken, has brown wich is negative, red wich is positive, and green with yellow strip wich is ground insulation
hello...how do you set the cut in pressure....mine don't start even when the pressure drops to zero psi?

Thanks bro
how do you set up start point ?
Nice question I searched for the answerwer but no found. How can i make auto start point closer to auto off point, so it would become more sensitive
Thank's o lot
Thank you bro very important information share
Can it gone to more psi. I have the same.
It can go up to 8bar..no more
When my tank gets up to pressure its realising the hole tank ?
check valve is bad
Good❤
Hi Sir!
Can You make video from the top please! I want to see the pipe connection please ! Thank you so much
What happen when its stop on 100psi
Ok now how to get rid of the air pressure released noise when the thank reached the desire setting?
That is normal
@@denrodz8813 yes it is, but is there an alternative way to avoid that pressure released noise (or at least slowly released)
Is that a homemade from fridge compressor?
Yes
Is it possible to adjust the starting pressure
