1) They wanted to do a skit with Wayne Brady and decided to make it Human-Centipede-themed.
2) They wanted to do a Human-Centipede-themed sketch, then called Wayne Brady for it.
3) Wayne Brady has been shopping around a Human-Centipede-themed sketch idea for years, and finally got Key and Peele to do it with him.
Either way, Wayne Brady
It's almost like they were having a "worst idea" idea competition and Human Centipede was the clear winner. Then they went with it because of time constraints. Comedy gold, none the less.

@@parask2450 The way the two are acting is almost as if they enjoyed the experience, like they wanted to be doing it. When Key says "When do I get to...", he's also saying he wants to have a mouth sewn to his ass. Peele saying "get to?" is the reveal that it wasn't something they enjoyed, so now they look at Key like he's a freak for actually wanting to be in that situation.

When you turn a simple “shit joke” into a dope skit.
One detail I just noticed is when peele and brady walk away after key said he wanted a turn in someone's mouth. You can see peele closely follow brady behind him like that is what position he is still used to being in 😆
