WHEN THE DEVIL DEFENDS YOU: NRM's Solomon Silwany justifies Mpuuga's 500 million

The MP for Bukooli Central Solomon Silwany was among the dignitaries who attended Nyendo Mukungwe MP thanks-giving prayers in Masaka City. The backbench parliamentary commissioner asked those at the event why the 500 million shillings service award would hurt them when there are those who receive billions like the Prime Ministers.
Silwany is among the four parliamentary commissioners who received a combined sum of 1.7 billion shillings. The two others are the the Women MPs for Zombo and Rubanda Esther Afoyochan and Prossy Akampurira respectively.
A process to have them censured is underway at parliament with more than 170 signatures collected of the required 176. This mission is spearheaded by the Lwemiyaga County MP Theodore Sseikubo.
