I'm gonna share the shit outta this
Heard this for the first time today. Wtf I can't stop grooving to it.
Yep got link good song
Every Grieves song is like a letter to a therapist, I love it.
I´m Brazillian, native, live here, just happen to speak english and I´m so hooked on this it´s unbelievable. Lost count of how many times I´ve listened to it haha! Great stuff!
Man. It would be an honor to share a glass of 10 year cask strength Laphroaig! Great song.
HOLY SHIT ITS BILLY THE FRIDGE!!!
flecs WATTHEFUCK
HOW DID HE GET THERE!?!?
Draddin watson he heard there was hookers and food
flecs ty I was wondering! It was driving me crazy😋💓
Even after years this song is still underrated
This song has been so good for so long dude I love it still and forever will❤
dude, not gonna lie. The beginning of the song where it sounds like a HDD or case fan or something scraping while powering down had me TRIPPIN FOR DAAAYS. I thought it was my PC and couldn't find the culprit until now...at the very beginning. touche'
I absolutely...cannot stop listening to this one. As soon as I heard the beat I knew I'd love it. And I love it even more than I thought I would. So catchy
Rhymesayers never disappoints
Bro Rhymesayers is the dopest label in the game right now!
Even years later this still brings me untold amounts of joy to listen to ^_^
If you haven't seen this man live, do it.
Jay.B second that hard
he’s also super chill when meeting fans
I got the first pic with him at his reno venue.
Saw him in San Diego on the Watsky tour. Instant fan
He's the best live!
Jesus! Grieves did it again, he fluffing nailed it!Another one of his songs that made me wonder why he doesn't have about 60million fans.....
Also his puppet is hilarious.
Hip hop ain’t dead
The fans are
TheMayor Esco does that make the fan base a “cemetery”
You dont need to drop next level bars on every single track you put out, sometimes you just need a feel good jam... and goddamn this one delivers!
Speak for yourself. Go listen to pop or something, if you want your feel good shit. We're in this for the lyrics. "Don't need to drop next level bars on every track". Fuck outta here. Tell that to Aesop, DOOM, Mos or RA. Damn 🙄
For real
All time greatest bars list includes *I jumped down to go batshit and now you Jokers are acting Bruce Wayne* .
“I came back to go batshit on these jokers like I’m Bruce Wayne!” 🦇
This music video is 100% amazing.
This popped up and I was like damnnn I haven't heard Grieves in a minute. What was I thinking this man is self care right now bout to go into a spiral listening to all these tracks
Can NOT get enough of this song right now. It's my #1 groove song on my current fav mix playlist.
I absolutely love this. It reminds me of my brother Dewayne. He referred to himself as Dewey Dew and always the life of the party. I never got a chance to show him my favorite rapper or this perfect song. He committed suicide on Sept. 16, 2016. I'm forever grateful to both Watsky and Grieves for having my back and keeping me from ever feeling too alone. Love you man, my brother was my hero, but you are too.
Y’all ever have that moment when you randomly discover an artist you’ve never heard before, and it just makes you say “GOT DAYUM! THIS SHIT GOODT!” I just had one of those moments. I bet this goes HARD at a live show! Much love from Texas, y’all!
Well fuck yeah!
@@GRIEVES206 I love you my dude, loved you for years, you made my childhood awesome and I will take you to my gravestone. You're simply iconic and the sound of your voice gave me plenty of happy times and memories.
His best albums are Winter and the Wolves and Together/apart if you want more
How I love alter egos... The song reminds me of any song from.. Quasmoto... For the majority who don't know quasimodo.. This is a major major compliment thank you grieves for putting out this wonderful track
I’ve listened to this 100 times and I’m still not tired of it. This song it fire.
I absolutely love the half second zoom in on the "BUT BETTER" line.
This is... really gooooood!
Im loving how hip hop has become accessible to all walks so we can get the art from all perspectives. This is awesome.
Hip is the info
Hop is the motion

you wouldn't happen to be a Wampus Cat would ya??! hahaha like the Mythical Creature?? like that place where the boggy depot breeze blows like the local DA on his knees?
Been a grieves fan since 88 keys and honestly this switch in styles is refreshing you can tell he just had fun and killed it
This boii is smooth as fuck.. flowy and mellow. Feeling it.
Lottie Lameko man, the tux, bowtie and streamers stage 🤣
Lottie Lameko this song is so smooth I want to spread it on bread and eat it
He looks like a long lost McPoyle brother.
Sleeping in your Coffee The estranged McPoyle who kicked the milk habit and actually made it.
Exactly. P.S. I appreciate the username.
The implications in this song tho. Too much
Sleeping in your Coffee ;)
Jason Sugarman He's going to do the Wade Boggs challenge with Templeton.
For real, he is so underrated. He has flow that can go anywhere, anytime. Nobody control this mans. Still one of my favorites
Prof and Grieves would be a godly duo
I got my old man on this and he's a LIFELONG metal head
Grieves looks and sounds like he had a blast making this record. I'm excited to hear him switch it up on it. Loved the song dood, but it needs more cowbell.
Axl Shields No no, what it needs is more shakers. Dude is filthy with them shakers
moar*
I got the reference. You can rest now. It has been a year.
@@shannonthegreatsides4887 mate what
All music needs more cowbell. Haha. XD
Where has this gem been... more like where have I been?
Man I haven’t heard this song In years and today it just recommended back up today! I miss this gem
Why am I just hearing this guy? He's dope
Late to the party huh. That sucks

This comment got me on a spiritual level.
Found this on the random click, what ever "IT" is, you got it. Respect
So glad i found this song again
Rhymesayers definitely never disappoints
Is no one gonna talk about how amazing this video is? The 7 deadly sins, he's controlled by the devil to sleep between shows.. just awesome
Who is what sin?
@@taraleann7711 the fat dude is gluttony, stripper is lust, and girl with the phone is probably envy.
@@probablynotdad6553 Grieves is vanity.
Break it down. Cuz I only see maybe 3
@@Roromofo06 grieves is pride, the devil is greed, stripper is lust, fat guy is gluttony as well as sloth (using grieves as a puppet) girl with the phone is envy and the guy with the black hat is wrath (assuming this because he stabbed him on purpose)
He's so gorgeous and such a great lyricist! Rhymesayers for life!!!
Grieves is a bad bad man 😎🤙
This is my guilty pleasure song for when I’m transitioning from tipsy to drunk.
-who else knew rickety Cricket could rap
Voltaire Venerium naw, man. It’s a mcpoyle
Every drink he has is secretly milk
He was the first concert I went to alone 🥰 I used my crutches and stood in the front row for 2 hours watching the man who pulled me from so many depressive episodes rap his heart out, we had a few laughs as an audience, frankly when I threw up outside at the end of the show because my pain had shot through the roof by the end of it, I didn't even fucking care, I was in bliss. Hell, no one outside cared either, just thought I had one too many beers. It was possibly one of the best experiences I've ever had as a lone adult. Only regret is not trying to pull myself together for one last hoorah, even though I was at a 10 on the pain scale and could barely use my legs, and go to the back to smoke with the opening acts and potentially the man himself. But the concert itself was absolute magic for me. I watched him sing What it Dew and scream-sang every word, he started to sing Sunny Side of Hell (which was how I originally found him, in the midst of a very bad depressive episode) and I squealed so loud the first few minutes I'm fairly certain he was singing at me (not just a big headed fan thing, we locked eyes, it was a small venue, he saw who squealed and pin pointed me) all in all, if the world ever goes back to small venue shows, I'll be front row again.
this song... i love it... got my father in law to love it and play it at his fires
That boy good!!
Lol nice wasn't expecting billy the fridge
poop stains
Dude ikr. Loved him on Drunken Peasants and my mom shows me this song and I'm like I KNOW HIM lol
Hell yeah was looking for this comment! 🙏💯🙏
Kimya Dawson led me to Aesop, Aesop led back to Rhymesayers in general. That was a rabbit hole worth going down.
Best song on the album.
LOVE GRIEVES....🤘😍🤘😍
For all the dudes hating on his new shit. I find this is way more stand out than his earlier shit. Always liked grieves, but this feels way more personal and creative than joints like against the bottom or lightspeed
I just don't see the hate
Connor Ollive sounds like he's been around prof lately, it sounds more like a prof song tbh
Connor Ollive o78i998your8

I am ashamed it took me this long to come across Grieves considering my love for Rhymesayers.
Welcome to grieves
Literally the best drinking song ever created ... Ever
Damn... 5 years already since this masterpiece?
I like how every Rhymesayers video revolves around occult themes and topics.
Even though this is 2 years old, I just discovered it about 6 months ago. To me, it's unique!! It's different than most other "rap". And of course, I love the lyrics!!!
I'm facing this fresh, I'm grey and away, and thankful to see more Easter eggs than can be laid in an august April. Well Done, son.
idk how I found this song - it was in my shazams, but I'm glad I checked it again. dope song
BBBIIIILLLYYY
So happy you're back.
This song is how I drink my beer, absolutely a tip back song. Good job my local boy
on repeat forever in my world
I've always loved grieves' music. And honestly I personally love his evolution because he's kept the sound relevant while keeping the lyrics deep. truly one of the artists that made me realize all of us old punk kids can make the transition to rap if it speaks to us instead of having to stick in a band making rock music that no longer appeals to our demographic. keep up the amazing work!
One of the best songs ever!!!!
I first heard this in 2015 Grieves has gotten me through some of the toughest parts of my life along with blue October and atmosphere 4sur
I will forever love any style of music this dude makes - but especially this one
I keep thinking that I'll get tired of this song, it just doesn't happen. Gotta play this shit a few times a day
yes
BILLY THE FRIDGE!!
I like the little “I’m just a sucker for pain” sounding bit in this. Good stuff. I dig it.
This is undeniably smooth af.
Yo IDK HOW TF 1 and a half THOUSAND peeps can hate on a song like this with a dislike(not like that shit Really matters...)
But they need ta get learning how ta feel GOOD RN👍
This one is great ! I like the effort this guy puts in his music, from live sessions (KEXP Scar Garden is a masterpiece) to sad songs (Autumn left me shattered). Keep it up Benjamin, you're a modern hero.
This is cool, keep it up grieves.
love you man
I love his voice.
This is so classy. The song, vid and everything about it is on point. So glad I was recommended it. I have a new favorite artist.
Getting close to a million views. Damn. And he was nice to my kid at soundset. Love grieves.
Probably the smoothest track in this generation
Keep coming back to this one. So good.
I fuck with this whole album! Even tho it's not out yet Haha
OMG that billy the fridge cameo
*This is the freshest snowflake on the market these days. Love the vibe/lyrics! love love love from Canada*
Billy the Fridge HYPE.
RIP Eyedea.
For every "purist" that's commenting about how his new direction is so horrible and nothing like his older stuff, there's a thousand hip-hop heads that are discovering his new shit and loving it. I've never met an artists who wants an audience so they can create for that same small audience over and over again. If we ain't reaching for more, then what we reaching for?
truuuth
Those purists don't know wtf they're talking about. Grieves has been experimenting with his sound his entire career.
I like old Grieves... But this shit is just too good.
William Shanley 💯💯💯
motherfuckers always hatin' on something...
Yes! I love rap and hip-hop but I definitely slept on grieves (or just never heard of him).
I saw his new stuff pop up in my recommended videos so I clicked on it.
I fucking fell in love with this style.
It made me go explore the rest of his stuff!
Needless to say, grieves has a new fan and I probably would not be a new fan if he didn't branch out.
I feel like each person was one of the seven deadly sins. He was pride, the devil chick was wrath, fat guy was gluttony, sexy chick was lust, guy at bar was sloth, the chick with the phone was covetousness, and the guy beside her was envy. I know its not but its fun to think into things sometimes hahah as long as you dont get crazy about it haha
I think you're right. I couldn't think of a point to the fat guy, but this makes sense.
@@deadmedowns all this running round got me hungry.
