Roofs look great! I hate doing roofs, but now I have to order some more metal for a little tractor shed I built. I was hoping metal prices would have come down more, but I think I am going to have to bite the bullet, especially with snow coming soon. I need to harrow fields too…. Better get on it! Haha! Thanks for the update!
Yes, metal has been steadily going up. One year ago I bought plain galvanized ultra panel for $1.80 a foot, for my barn. When I bought the same metal for the machine shed a month ago, it was $2.30. With the way things are looking, I'd buy now! Best of luck, and have fun!
Hi Chris, You farm looks top notch from what it was, you really worked hard to get the buildings in the shape they are now and very clean yard, well done, hope you can sort the pump leak out
Thanks Jan! It's been a slow process, but it's coming along. Having the barn and machine shed roofs done is a HUGE burden off my back! Every day is another project, and another experience. I'm blessed beyond words. Take good care my friend!
Great video - everything looks good. With regards to a 100ish hp heavy tractor on a budget, I would recommend an older row crop tractor. We have a MF 1105 which is great. Other tractors I like in that range are the White 2-85, 2-105, IH 966, 886, 986 and the MF 1135.
All good info there! I love the Massey's of that generation, and the White's. The unfortunate thing is, I don't have a Massey tractor dealer anywhere near me. The IH machines are fantastic, but getting harder to find. The next tractor I get will need to be 4x4, have a loader and cab, and not have gobs hours on it. Basically a larger version of what I have now. I'd love to get to the point where I have a 2wd older bigger machine, and the all around loader/chore tractor.
Good to see the fruits of your labor paying off there. The feeder calves look pretty good. Glad to hear that you found someone to hook up with to move them on to market. Keep up the good work there. Take care.
Looks like you've been taking advantage of all the daylight you can ,farm is looking great 😉 sorry to hear about that TL again, hopefully you can get it fixed up again 🙏 Ps I used to say there wasn't enough daylight in a day....fast forward 20 years and I'm beginning to think there's to much daylight 🤷♂️😂 ,just whittle away a bit at a time you'll get er done 😉🙏🇺🇸
Ha ha! I am starting to understand that sentiment. My goals are always ambitious for the day, and I seldom get done everything I had planned (not enough time in the day). Might just be that I'm terrible at estimating times?? I only have a few more large projects left to get the farm right again. Hopefully I can get more onto maintenance mode at that point, and I won't be balls to the wall like this. I'm getting a bit tired these days, come 7pm.
Thanks! Yeah, I'm so glad the roof projects are over with for now. I was getting tired of it for sure! I don't know of anything aftermarket for it the TL. I sure wish this wasn't a problem though!

Thanks Ron! I'm thrilled with how the calves look. Having them pre-sold is a nice piece of mind as well! Hope all is well for ya bud!
@@DennysCountryLife Just been busy with the day job
Great Job Chris, rooves look great.
Thanks Dave! Just got done putting a gutter down the back of the machine shed. I'm feeling good about heading into winter now.
New follower, just stopping in to check things out. Beautiful land. Look forward to future videos. Good job on the barrow.
Thanks! Much appreciated.
Looking good over there at your place! Glad you got to do some farm work 👍🏻
Thank you brother!

The farm is looking great.
Thanks bud!
Farm is looking good! Roofing is not fun lol I wonder if there is an aftermarket pump that is a different brand that might not leak?
