- This setup uses Alpione's amulet (must complete Ochette's story and Alpione's next chapter side quest).
If you don't want to use Alpione's amulet, use the Peak Performance support skill instead. I tried it and it gives less but satisfying enough damage rate. Video here:

If using the Salt the Wound support skill in not reliable enough (as you have 50% chance of acting twice when breaking an enemy), just manipulate turn order so that you can play twice in a row (1st to heal/buff, 2nd to break).
Castti's Concoct ability is perfect for this as, with enough BP, you can heal, buff, boost and control turn order at the same time.
Also, I use Step Ahead in this video, but honestly you can survive without that additional turn if you time your healings well.
Other interesting support skills to use: Bolstering Break (ATK. UP when enemy broken), BP in Adversity (gives 2 BP when near Death), Upgraded Accessories (to gain more HP).

Why did that happen? I'm guessing the lionheart axe raising max HP removed the full 1HP buff from alpione's amulet

I wish that the skill it performs once captured with Ochette wasn't garbage. The Deep One's design is really cool.

@@sneaky314k I can see it being super useful if combined with the "demonic whispers" skill but yea, you'd think Deep One would give you more.

@@sneaky314k Mhm. I can really think of very few bosses where it would actually be useful, and even then, those bosses tend to literally spam you with debuffs, so it's not like it would have helped you much.

I used Armsmaster with pretty much every character on solo mode lmao. Agnea is really impressive.

@@sneaky314k I was pondering Agnea when I saw it say that the user’s magic stat gets attributed to damage with the cane attack. Agnea doesn’t hit as hard as Ochette as a ranger, but damn she does still do good with a physical attack.

I dont like aphotecaries (castii, alfyn).
Why not? I do admit alfyn feels a bit too expensive early game but I love using castii
How did you get alphione accesorie?
She sat on the bench for most of my game, but she can be downright broken if used right. A Step Ahead + Full Power + Boost-Start will give her the first turn in battle with 2 BP. Defend that turn, and she is the first to act in the next turn with 3 BP. Full boost, activate latent, Medicinal Concoction, Pomegranate Leaf x3 + Diffusing Serum + Strengthening Serum. Boom, your entire party has 5 BP and no items were consumed. Or, to let your entire party act before the enemy with 4 BP, Pomegranate Leaf x2 + Whimsical Leaf + Diffusing Serum + Strengthening Serum.
The only thing that makes it not so great is how most of the other characters are also broken. Ochette and Hikari can easily clear out random encounters by themselves in one turn, particularly if paired with Temenos and Throne at night.

I didn’t like Alfyn too much (more because I didn’t like the character himself) but apoths are honestly so op. Probably the most underrated units in Octo to most players
but it wasted a lot of items
Well, it's a solo run so I managed to use just the items I needed to complete the 100%
except boss & superboss ofc
+ some of them are farmable (Forbidden Elixirs & Refreshing Jams)
