I think Agnea is better in phase 2. She can use windy refrain to manipulate turn order. It’s really important to stop the boss getting 3-4 turns in a row.

Hikari was a hunter for the whole game, so I decided I had money to burn and made him a merchant. Throne was already a merchant, so the result was 3 servings of Hired Help foreign assassin per turn until the minions were destroyed and the boss was broken. It worked out, but then he recovered from break without the dagger weakness and nearly wiped my party. Throne was the last one standing with one HP, and Galdera MISSED. This also triggered ensnare, lowering his physical defense. I then revived everyone and had Osvald analyze his weaknesses, incidentally revealing that Galdera only had 20000 hit points. Hikari used Brand's Thunder for 25000 damage, which might not have worked if not for the ensnare.
I walked into that fight with a little under 2 million leaves and left with less that 800 thousand.
I struggled with the 2nd phase but ur video helped much appreciated lad 😊
My basic strategy isn't too dissimilar, but some key differences:
-Castti is in team 1 to spam Concoct.
- Hikari's damage is coming from On the Hunt straight up, with damage enhanced by revealing all weaknesses using the Deep Analysis Learned Skill
-Osvald spams jams with Dohter's Charity in team 2
-Ochette is breaking in team 2 using an innocuous monster called Ocean Lizardking III. It's a double dagger hit that applies a Windy Refrain effect. With Provoke Beasts it pretty much solos Galdera's shield so that Throne can murder

Just beat him finally, used some of your guide to do it, thanks for the pointers! I ended up having a similar phase 1, but phase 2 I had osvald break the arms and head and then ochette break the body at the end. Throne and hikari dps are no joke

i guess I distributed the nuts wrong since both Hikari and Throne didn't do by far that much damage, but I eventually beat him with luck(?)...
A weird fight overall since the whole game was a cakewalk^^'

Managed to do this so big GG's. What i will say though is, this strategy only works if you have essentially perfect RNG. I found that if the turn order wasnt exactly right it doesnt work. But thank you either way.
I used castti throne osvad and temenos for the first phase (castti and throne to support, osvald and especially temenos to dps/stun), and partitio Agnea hikari and ochette for the second phase (agnea supports and reduce physical defense of the enemies, ochette dps with the merchant abilities and reduces armors with her skills, partitio supports and do sith merchant, hikari dps).
Make sure you use your best healing items (revive all hp & sp recovered item) if needed. Could be the difference between winning and dying close to the finish line!

Hello, can you tell me how I can use all my monster with orrchete, I use provoke beast but just let me use a mahina, acta, chubbi Cait, peek a boo and vagrant.
Need advice! In phase 1 i finally managed to axe everything out but it triggers that flame attack that will drain hp at the end of turn! How the hell do you manage to axe them and breaking the eye and no flames around you? Unfortunately with Hikari at 1 HP this is driving me nuts!!!

It’s about managing the turn order. After Hikari axes down the adds, Ochette (my breaker) has to break him before boss turn. If that’s not possible just use the medium healing herb to Hikari before end of the turn and he should survive the flame then in next turn get your team to feed him forbidden elixir. Hope this helps 😊
Bro im just wondering why does my damage only max out between 11k to 40k, even tho i max out physical and elemental attack. I saw videos that people are dealing 99k
Got it done with this method. Had to finagle a bit with the turn order. Failed a couple times because I took my foot off the gas. In the second phase, just keep going balls to the wall until he's down.

That's close to my set up.
In phase one I have Warmaster Hikari, Ochette, Castti, and Merchant Agnea. Castti has to go before Hikari but that's not a deal breaker. Defend with Agnea and Ochette the first turn so they go first turn two, Concoct with Castti for a BP and Attack Up boost then use the Warmaster Spear attack to clear the souls and get the BP back. Break with Agnea and Ochette (knife and axe attacks) then it's just attacking with Limb from Limb, feeding Hikari BP and I like to throw in a Wind attack from Agnea to help with any damage ranges (there aren't any but she's got x3 wind boost and I like using it).
Phase two I have Apothacary Partitio, Cleric Throne, Hunter Osvald, and Scholar Temenos. Ideally Partitio goes before Throne and I can put Dohter's Charity on Throne but any turn order can work by throwing BP boosting items/skills so at the end of the turn Temenos has Aelfric's Blessing and Alephan's Wisdom and can use his EX nuke on his bonus round. With my set up that will kill both arms and put the head in the red. Then I wait for a turn order that has Osvald going after the main body and keeping my Elemental Attack up and maybe Aelfric's Blessing up on Temenos with items/skills. On the turn with my hunter going after the body I break the head with Assassins or Aeber's Reckoning then Leghold Trap the body so I don't have to survive any of those boosted attacks. Once trapped and a Cursed Talisman is applied a Temenos nuke plus or minus some extra damage from the others will clean up the body.

Thank you for your guide, but it doesn't work for me, every time I don't have the right character order and I always get the flames. I can't kill it, I've been at it for 3 days now, even though I'm Level 85 on all the characters.
it took a while for me to beat this boss, i had to use like 70% of my stat increasing nuts and did someone else's build spelling OCTO-PATH as the team comps; somehow i managed to beat Galdera's first phase WITHOUT letting the flames burn and somehow it skipped from triggering after it recovered from the break; second phase was where i had so much hiccups with the set-ups, Hikari was not doing enough damage for the parts to go down, after stuffing him with nuts in HP & ATK he finally did the necessary damage for Galdera to go down after 16 attempts

Hi bro. Why my limb from limb damage is too low around 20k/hit while i follow ur gear setup, skills and limit break after using pika boo break boss'shield or i miss something
If your equipment and skills are exactly the same as in my guide. I would look at your physical attack stat when holding battle tested blade it should be as close to 999 as possible, and your max HP the more higher damage due to Alpione's Amulet. And also make sure that Hikari also buffed with physical attack up.
@@JD-Gaming-Pot With battle tested blade, Hikari atk is 853 Cri 567 and 6200 max hp with lvl 84. It may be not enough, I will try to grind more lvl. Thank bro.
hmm with this stat you should be doing more than 20k/hit. Something definitely off here.
Is your HP only 1 ?
I have the same problem, same gear, even better stats because of level and nuts - but still limb for limb hits for 18k

Struggling on phase 2 still. I can’t get Throne to do that much damage with Aeber, despite having a higher speed stat than you!
I tried fighting him with Throne as my damage dealer, but then it said something like "Throne was seized by the darkness" and it kept happening every turn. How do I evoid this?
I haven’t seen it. Which phase is it?
@@JD-Gaming-Pot Second phase, she basically lost her turn for the entirety of the fight, which sucked because her aeber's was my main damage source.
@@graceli1903 It's probably one of boss debuff skills. Try to use Dance of Immunity or Reflective Barrier skills of Arcanist job on Throne and see if it can help preventing it. Let me know how that goes.
Im intimidated by this. Btw I have managed to beat the final boss few days ago barely survived the battle. Unfortunately I didn’t use your method because it takes too long to get the battle tested weapons. As for this maybe I won’t be trying lolz
Don’t be. You can get at least a copy of each battle tested weapon from NPC after you completed all travelers’ story. IMO the blade is the only one you must get. Even with less gear, I still think you can beat him with this strategy, it will just take longer thus making it harder. 😄
@@JD-Gaming-Pot i think if there’s one shot kill or two times that would be the desirable results. With this guy, you really don’t want to drag on since it could make it even harder to win. Even the opera singing is creating eerie atmosphere for me to even stay longer for this fight 🤣.

I feel like I have basically the same setup as you do here, but you're somehow getting triple the damage per hit from Limb from Limb; I'm only getting about 20k to 40k a hit, tops. I have the two accessories, I have the Giant's Club, I have the sword, I have the class, he's sitting at 1 HP, it's almost 1:1. How the HELL are you pulling out so much damage from him? Haha.
What’s your Hikari’s physical atk and critical stats? They have to be high as well.
@@JD-Gaming-Pot So I did a little gear swapping. Found out that not only is the Critical stat important, it's practically paramount. Arguably more important than the Physical attack stat for DPS. Simply switching out three pieces of gear turned that 20k into 60k. Those pieces were the ones in your guide, of course!
So for anyone reading this that had the same problem as me, the Crit stat isn't just the rate you'll get criticals, it's also the damage that comes out when they land. Do NOT sleep on the Crit stat in this game.

That's true. Based on my 8-10 runs, she didn't die once. Maybe I just got lucky lol. But there should be many ways to keep her alive such as Temenos' Prayer for plenty.
