The first match really shows the sad core gameplay of mk1.. on one side, you have a player that plays his heart out with a low tier character. On the other side, you have "what most players do," a player playing a top-tier character and still getting carried by top-tier cameo.
Repetitive complaint, grow up.

As cool as some of Homelanders stuff is he’s pretty boring to watch. Every Homelander player has the exact same gameplan. The only way to tell someone else has hopped on the character is combo execution.
This is how every single new character is. People learn one or two combo paths and continue to use them (because they work) until new sauce, combo routes, or kameo combinations are found. It takes more time than people realize to figure out shit like that when new characters drop.
It happened with ermac as well, the character literally is still under explored, same with shang and some other characters

So, explain me like I'm 5 years old... why is Homelander's Fly -> Kick -> Dash Kick seemingly plus on block, and how are ya supposed to stop that? I wager Up-blocking does not work, hence nobody tried it...
Upblocking would be high risk, low reward in that scenario. You *could* fuzzy block or react, but it's one of those things where you need to have a lot of gamesense to actually react to it.

How are some people 7 for 7 but dont have the 100% win rate ? Is it round based?
100% win rate means you won 3-0 every single match. Winning 3-1 would put you at 75% and so on.
Why takkinada has 7 wins out of 7 but his win rate is 84%
Win rates is calculated for sets, not matches. If you want 100%, you need to win every set 3-0.
