    Pursuing that time-machine look. The stock Supra makes me feel like it just rolled out of the dealership in 1994.

      I love the OEM look also. It took me a long time to find those wheels, but the wait was worth it. Thanks for watching a few videos on the channel.

    So happy to see these on a clean car. Stock tt wheels are worth all the money.

      Thanks Dan! I love the look and the car feels different. The wheels weigh less compared to the two sets of aftermarket wheels I have owned.

    When i got my Supra in Aug of 2020, it had the oem polished 17x8 fronts and 17x9.5 rears. I still have them in the shed and i won't get rid of them ... Sorry just need to keep them as well as all the oem parts i removed from it for the bolt on upgrades.
    5 yrs huh ... glad you found them

      Nice! Keep those, they are worth a lot. It is hard to find polished wheels. There are chrome sets out there, but the polished ones only came out during the 97-98 models.

      @@DriversTherapy Yea its the 98 model with the polished wheels, i drove the Supra oem stock for 2 months after i purchased it before the bolt-on itch took over.

      I would recommend to use a 25 mm spacer, I have this with my 16 OEM ones and looks so much nicer, and you don't have to do anything with the fenders just keep all stock

  • @JacobMueller

    I had no idea the oem wheels were so wide! That's a lot of tire for a 90's car, especially compared to the NSX. They look great!

    • @DriversTherapy
      @DriversTherapy  Před 2 lety

      They have some good width for sure. I think they have a nice stance on them as well. And I was surprised how light they are. Thanks Jacob for checking out the video!

    Something about the OEM wheels on 90’s JDM cars has a simple magic that aftermarket wheels can’t touch.
    I love polished OEM original NSX wheels!

    Those rears look thicc! Probably the width/diameter ratio, but they're 9.5' in the rear right?

    • @DriversTherapy
      @DriversTherapy  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes, they are 9.5 Not bad for wheel design in the 90s.
