A lovely piece of farming history, with three generations of David Brown tractors in action. Thank you.

Ahh the days of the forage harvester. I used to love watching them work, then seeing them left in our local fields. When I was a kid, I thought they were some big scary monster. Sometimes I remember the farmers would leave them in a field so long unused, that the grass started growing again where they had cut, but they still hadn't finished cutting the field yet. So there was all this area of long grass and short green grass. I was always fascinated how they cut the long grass so perfectly down to a short length and with seemingly little effort compared to a garden lawn mower. Of course later on when I had more understanding of how tractors worked and agricultural engineering generally, I then knew how they did it so well.

@@masseydriverb3582 The DB 990 Implematic was produced up until 1965, was colored Red & Yellow and was replaced by the DB 990 Selectamatic which was colored Orchid White and Chocolate Brown. There was also a DB 990 Selectamatic produced from 1972 with the colors Red & White and these continued to be produced until 1977.
