- Join Ciara Whelan as she experiences the very best of what Monaghan has to offer. She chats to a local about famous poet Patrick Kavanagh, cycles through the spectacular Sliabh Beagh mountains, goes stand up paddling boarding on the stunning Lough Muckno in Castleblayney, visits Rossmore Forest Park - home to several gigantic mythical sculptures - and enjoys afternoon tea at the famous Castle Leslie Estate, and much more! This episode takes us inland to a county renowned for the Irish craft of lacemaking, its spectacular drumlin countryside landscape, and a very warm welcome.
Ireland is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.
